Hi, RPG Maker community :)

I downloaded RPG Maker XP recently out of curiosity, and to satisfy my creative urges. I will need to experiment a lot, but might well produce something playable in the end. Also I am playing through games hosted here which catch my eye.

Is there a convenient list of links that would help me get 'up to speed' with game design? Should I read all the tutorials on the site?

An interest in RPG making is obvious if you joined this site: tell us something about you. What other interests do you have?

I play XSketch (xsketch.com), an online pictionary game. Films, books, music not so much. I've always had an interest in designing games (not so much on the computer though) - I once created a working card game after watching an episode of Disney's "Recess" in which they played a collectible card game called Ajimbo.
