I was going to play and review this one but meh, not really worth doing so. Especially since everything I'd say would just be mirroring InfectionFiles' review now that I've read that.

My notes while playing were:

-Jack has a beard on the sprite and not on his mugshot. Weird since isn't that handled automatically in the generator?

-Memes and popular game references are okay so long as they don't interfere with the mood, but the one with the clock doesn't even make sense. All the times in Undertale where that was used were cases that are actually motivational. When does a broken clock ever fill anyone with determination? Additionally Undertale incorporated it into the story, and very well too. That just makes your use of it seem ever more thoughtless.

-After the dinner the whole plot seems to go kind of boofaw. Too many developments too quickly. When done properly this makes the player suspicious and builds tension. Improperly, it just feels messy. You're going with the owner then you're running from him then he's ok then you're running from him again. He killed me once because the last I'd seen him he wasn't trying to kill me. It made no sense.

-If you go to the basement you exit right and enter the next room on the right. If it's an Up/Down to Left/Right switch then I can just barely accept it because not all riles support facing other directions but in this case it's obviously just a mistake.

I didn't finish the game. Your music choice and visual edits are nice so there's a lot of promise there. Keep trying and improving. Play your own games with a critical mindset before uploading it here can go a long way to, well, not wasting other people's time. If you played this objectively yourself before uploading it you should've seen that it wasn't very good.

It Moves

I got this game first and that tipped me off to Michael Whitehouse's work. So advertising works both ways and I'm a huge fan now:)

Imaginary Friends

Shayoko won't be able to answer you. Users with a jail cell over their avatar and some variant of "banned" are, of course, banned. There's usually a summary of why they met such a fate under their avatar.

But about that avatar, that's Homura from the absolutely fantastic anime Puella Magi Madoka Magica. It has a dungeon crawler game on PSP and an action game on Vita but they were Japan-only releases. It has countless fan-made games but the only one I'd recommend is the PC game Grief Syndrome.

Project Nyx

Dumb and funny together becomes dumb fun, which is always amusing. There's typos abound and I didn't play enough to look for bugs or anything but I got a good laugh out of the protag's reactions and stuff.

I love Korean shovelware MMOs just as much as the next bot scripter but be sure to read the rules before advertising your affiliates.

Luxaren Allure

Embric was freakin hilarious. Back when I played it I was on a different RM site and even mentioning the game would warrant a ban warning (although such was never stated in the rules). I dunno how that works here.

But yeah if you ask on the forms somebody would likely provide a list and you'd get more than just the RPG crowd answering.

When Yanderes Cry Review

I think I had the blue haired ones mixed up at some point.

Nice review~
I completely agree with most of the stuff you pointed out. I actually thought rhe tutorial being there was actually somewhat necessary though, since if you skip it you probably don't even have any idea who the girls even are.

The tutorial was necessary purely for that. So by my mentality if that development were in the game proper it would've been better. Hence why I put that under "other" and not "bad", because the info is there and it's better than when people only put the info on their blog and not in the actual game.

I suppose the tutorial also lets you learn where you can save. I don't think the main game one tells you that. It does tell you to check everything so by elimination you'll eventually find how to save. Sadly you'll likely find a Murder Miku first but it's not like the game has a long intro.

Yeah, that gal pals thing can only stretch so far. ... says the guy with the Symphogear avatar (not Kirika and Shirabe though) who at one point had a Nanoha avatar.

I have elements of lesbianism in one of my projects but... hmmm... it doesn't play out as nicely as it does here.

It's usually my preferred type of romance in anime and things influenced by anime because, unlike real life where what way you swing has no real impact on the style of the relationship, in anime yaoi usually involves outright abuse or at the very least heavy dominance (which I'm not fond of) and straight relationships are either so forced they're unbelievable or they're unbelievable because they never go anywhere.

I keep getting stuck with faux-yuri stuff. You know where it's like "we hold hands and blush, sleep together, gaze into each other's eyes with our foreheads touching and have even kissed once, oh but we're just friends." stuff. I'm not saying they need to smell the carpet to seal the deal but at least a declaration of love would be nice.
