Its a joke Joel, don't overthink it dude. The movie got put in the LGBT section of Netflix by accident and we decided to make him an icon. People know what the original plot of the movie and what the Babadook was meant to symbolize.
The only deeper level of the joke is that gay people claiming horror movie icons as LGBT icons is sorta "you said we we're monsters so we're taking all the monsters. they're gay and ours now"

I know this is supposed to be comical but watching the films is like missing the point Beyond Comprehension it's like having Jefferson Davis's the head of a black movement. This creature symbolizes her Eternal grief depression frustration and Body in it and how she lets it out on her son. Simultaneously I bet this will be cute.
Are you sure you watched the right movie? The Babadook is about a gay man embracing who he is and spreading positivity.

I'M SO SORRY! I know you I just completely confused myself, cus there was an "Elena" and a "Edgar" and stuff, so I assumed the name was a character, then got caught up in thinking "Who tf is playing Ebeth and how do we know their character already?"

Played this and loved it!!!! I'm always up for cute graphics and spicy gay romance. in the sections before meeting the lovely zen shop keeper i was able to go off the path a few times, which I wasn't sure was intentional or not. I'm not really a stickler for these things though. fantastic job guys!!!<3

I played really poorly this game :/ my intuition was all wrong constantly. I think I'm rusty from not playing for so long.
Also I continue to be really good at catching "slip ups" that mean absolutely nothing and end up hurting town.
