Games that are popular but you haven't played
Halo
Gars Of War
Rock Band
Guitar Hero
Persona
Oblivion
World Of Warcraft
Rachet And Clank
Wild ARMS (Played one game, and that was 4.)
Xenogears/Xenosaga (Also only played one game; The second Xenosaga)
Sonic
Near all sports games
And...probably alot more! But I had to look through other peoples lists to find a few more names to add in thar. I'm mainly an RPG person, but even so...I probably haven't even played most of the "better" RPG's out there!

Ah! Good to see that you've chnaged the font. It's actually readable now. Er...I mean to me, that is. Seems like you were able to read the other one just fine, as you've said! But I just thought it easier on you if you used this one.
Now, back to the real discussion!
Is it just me...or does everyone besides me have bad luck with the games I make? I don't know what it is, but all the enemies pull of their best attacks on everyone besides me. I was actually suspecting people of saying that it was bordering easy! I'm...sort of glad that it didn't turn out that way, though!
Orul? I think that outside of there is a good place to get a bit of money. Make sure to conserve your items well, and not waste them! They become plentiful in the future parts of the game, but in the beginning they're something to cherish! Since you have both the Hero and the Priest in your party, use them for healing as often as possible, and only when you need to! The "Heal" spell should work wonders for you in the beginning of the game, as it only costs 2 MP and you should ahve a fairly good amount of MP Items from your adventures in the previous dungeons. Or...should you? I can't remember if I put much in there, but I remember that I had enough to make it passed Orul.
Try and concentrate your Gil on better Weapons and Armor, and less on items! Unless they are the good status recover items, that is. Also, since you're in Orul, you now have access to the Magic Tab item at the item shop. It recovers 5MP to a single ally, but only on the world map...but it's an MP recovering item! So make sure to get about 10~ of them before you venture onwards.
Alot of the enemies near Orul have pretty good amounts of Gil in them, and near all of them use their physical attacks most often, to Surround is key. Just spend a bit of time outside of town, gaining money and a bit of experience. It doesn't get too much harder than this, as I was able to make my way through the game without grinding, and just fighting all the enemies I ran in to (unless, of course, I HAD to run away, which I did a few times. That, or I was just not in the mood so I ran for no reason. =P)

Excellent! Another comments. And this one is quite lengthy to boot!
First of all, I'll have to thank you for downloading the game. I appreciate it. Though...where did you get that font? My god man, it looks atrocious! I'd be suprised if you said that you could actually read what the attacks weres, along with what the townfolk said!
I've got a pretty good font here. It was given in my topic of DF II over at Dragons Den by Indogutsu. It's nice, much easier to read than what you've got there, and adds to the feel of the game! Well, in my opinion it does.

But it's your choice. Can't force you!
Second, don't worry about status effects and what effects an enemy. near every status effects affects every enemy. So if you find a mage, StopSpell 'em. If you find a heavy hitter that REALLY dishes out the damage, Blind 'em. I thought that trying to guess what would work on each enemy would be a hassle to the players, so I decided to make all of them effective. A good choice? A bad choice? I'll probably get mixed opionions, as I always do. But it certainly made it funner for me.

Wow, Max, looks like you went on a posting spree!
And...I was able to get your seal of approval? YOUR seal of approval!?!? YES!!! There IS a God! Ha ha ha ha ha!!! This...it's like...getting a gift from the president! Or from Jebus! Or both!
=P Ha ha. Tis great news! I'm glad that you were able to come in and give your opinion on it, and I'm also glad that it was so good! Thank you for the support, Mr.McGee. p_o

He he. Well, I did the best I could do. As the game went on and I gained more spells, things became alot harder to balance out. That, and trying to make it balance for near every party combination! Gah. But...well, how it came out it came out! And it's probably the best I can do with it. So I hope it at least gets a Mid-level ranking!
Also, I have to warn you all about a small bug in the game. it's not really a bug, but more of an...idiotic error on my part. You can avoid it, download the new one I'm putting up, or go into the editor and fix it yourself.
-If you have RPG Maker 2000 and can open the game using the editor, go down and find the "Snoplat Rest Area" map under "World Map" and go into the "Church" portion of it. There is an event leading up to the priest where you will be teleported to the next dungeons boss if you step on it. If you take the even away, all should be good!
-If you don't download it, or fix it yourself...stay clear! That, or be very prepared! Note that you will not be able to save in Snoplat, and that if you die against the boss (one of the harder ones), then you'll have to walk all the way back up there from the desert.
So...that's it! Now I'm just gonna go and replace the old download.
Sorry, everyone! Snoplat was the only place I didn't look. ;_;
I'll place an edit in this post once I'm done!
EDIT:
Tis up. Also, if you do download the new one, just take the save file from the project folder of DFII and paste it in the new one. Voila! You don't have to start a new game or anything!

Nah, that's not it. I just put it down by mistake. But in the laest version it doesn't look like that, anyway!

Ok I got to the second town and all my characters are level 4.
My party:
Stedar the Hero
Mana the Mage
Andrew the Priest
Kobra the Knight
Yes I picked names from people on the SU site.
Anyways it would be cool if you could somehow get the old backgrounds from the old games. Other than the black background for the battles this game is addictively fun. It takes me back to those days of Dragon Warrior. The best part is that you somehow made the game better than the original DW game.
I will continue to play this and I can't find anything I don't like other than the lack of battle backgrounds.
To the second town? Already!? Wow, you're fast. I didn't think you'd have completed the Tower of Zebon so quickly, and only at Lv.3-4! I was at Lv.5 before I finished that place. I think I was, anyway. That...or I just reached Lv.5 when I beat the boss there.
And you picked a nice, classic party, huh? Awesome. I got the Dark Knight, Status Mage/Inflicter, and the Priest on my go.
But thank you for the comments. It is great to here someone have so much fun with the game. Makes it al worth it in the end. I just hope you manage to make it to the end! =P
And, for this project, I just thought that battle backgrounds just would not work. They looked pretty good in Fragon Fantasy, but I didn't like them in this game. Dunno WHY, but they just seemed a tad out of place.
Release Something! Day V for Vendetta [Dec 21st]
I shall indeed try! Well, make it to the end and best the final boss, at least! I'm just hoping that it gets finished up soon. I've been itchin' to play it.
I was wondering...what will the final battle be like, I wonder? But the again, I wonder about that for every game, so it's nothing different, really!

Well that's me for you! I say I have patience, and I think I've convinced myself that I have some...but I really don't. Ku ku ku. Tis bad, especially with stuff like this. But it's 'nuttin. It's out, released, and done with! I feel alot better and happier. 'Tis indeed a great feeling!
So...yeah. Hrm. That's about it. >_>
