I love RPG's. If an RPG was released in Australia, chances are I have played it. (Unfortunately that means I missed out on lots of good titles that were never released in Aus...)
I'm a web designer/developer and have enjoyed making Pirate Rush in RPGMaker VX Ace in my spare time. I like to make others happy and I'm hoping that the games I create will bring happiness and enjoyment to others.

Psh, Eric is a real man - he gets into the action up close and personal, now cowers from a distance behind a scope... is what I would say if that was true. :P
Nice looking combat, though. While I like the HP and MP text overlapping the faces, if you do change them later, I would suggest try not to make that text cover their eye or something like the female character face :)

How do I know which button to press to jump?

I actually like the large, simple yet effective way to tell the player what to do. I can see it scrolling in from the left and then fading out.

Pirate Rush
Well, I've uploaded the next version with my latest changes. It's not that much more gameplay so don't get too excited. I have included a save file just before the boss of the previous version.
