My goodness, you played this stupid game. :) Yes, it is meant to be scary and distressing in some places. Because the whole game is a commentary on how today's comedy isn't funny.

Unheal is basically to be used immediately after an enemy heal, and it "undoes" the effect of their healing.
The grand twist with Reschen is that she wanted the Ribbon too just like Darxyll. So she ended the conversation without answering.
