Castles- Masterpiece Set
author=Isrieriauthor=GloopMasterYou can use Metroid tiles but I'd rather you'd put them in a regular ol' castle. There's a very noticeable lack of them in this project. Which makes me a little sad. :(

Oh, well then I have some usage of them in my castle level.
Edit: Oh, and, it doesnt end with a "?" sphere because I can't get them to not dissappear randomly...

You're welcome. Currently my attention is somewhat diverted to the SMBX castle contest/event/thing, so there may be some delay before I even get her story to a state I consider fit for a pre-release of sorts.

I simply want the character to have a "surprised" expression, similar to Miki's surprise expression. The thing is: The character 27 is precisely what I want.
So, put simply: I want a surprised tachie, and only a surprised tachie. Not a reworked tachie-set.author=GloopMaster

Anyway, give me a few hours. Do you want the exact same eyes as Miki's tachie's, or are you fine with a less wide one? I felt like her eyes and mouth shouldn't open all the way even when startled, what with her "I'm so baked" look on the rest of the tachies.
Heh. I meant that I could copy-paste the parts that indicate "surprise" in Marrend's image onto one of the existing images for the character.
And I would, yes, like it to go with the rest of the tachie. So, no, do not have the same eyes as Miki's. Keep the eyes the same, but make the rest of the face signify surprise, e.g. eyebrows and mouth.

Precisely. Having a character swap hair color all the time wouldn't make sense, and my character is, most definitely, not a fantasy creatureHowever, we do have magical girls, ghosts, and dream entities! Having a girl that changes hair color according to her mood is probably fair ground!
Ha, perhaps a different character could use that. All I know is that my character is not like that ;)
Edit: also your image is larger by 3 pixels in both directionsThat's interesting. The built-ins, and practically all the other characters that use material_m, have dimensions of 255 by 468. I was more or less assuming the pre-made tachie were the same size. Resizing things shouldn't be too much of a hassle, though. The thing I'm not exactly sure of at this moment is how flowertheif managed that hair color!
252 x 462. So actually it's a 3x6 difference. And you can always just look at the RGB values of the existing hair.

As for making tachie from scratch, that's more or less what I did. I took the base "material_m", and did some editing to make it look like "Character 27". Not close enough to the character for your purposes, it seems.

Tell us what you want, I'll do it for you from scratch.
The thing is I don't want it from scratch if that can be avoided; I'd like it to be edited from Character 27 on flowerthief's post here. I would like it to be essentially a "surprised" tachie for that character.
