Worldbuilding to fit Characters, or Characters to fit the rest of the World?

I think it all kind of comes in a jumbled chaos for me. A character concept here, a setting idea there, plot point here--and then I go about making sense of it and fleshing everything out. I usually work on it all at once, no particular order, just whatever interests me at the moment. But it's all likely to change as the plot develops. Lots of revisions all the time.

One thing I will say is that I don't like having a character all figured out beforehand. I want them to remain a bit conceptual and develop form as I hammer out the world and plotline. By the time I've got a concrete plot, I expect to have some dynamic characters.

How much does gamepage CSS factor into your decision to read the details or download the game?

Doesn't really matter much to me, as long as everything is legible.
I look at screenshots first usually, maaybe glance at the developer or rating, then read the description.

What are some really funny RPG Maker games?

I could use some more humor in my gaming. Totally gonna play all of these.
The only ones that I've played that spring to mind at the moment are...

Corporal Buggy Bear - not much to look at, but it was a fun romp when I played it ages ago. It's on RMN.
Mimicry Man - Just a nice casual game all in all with some good humor. A+
Undeniably Sexy: A Thief's Tale - A very long rpg (30+ hours). It's pretty funny/silly, yes, but can also be somewhat offensive at times.

Some RM Game names I really like...

All of these are great so far. Also...

Star Stealing Prince - Maybe it's the alliteration, maybe it's because it's a title that tells a little story all its own.
Miserere - because it sounds funny when I try to pronounce it
Punch Bears - pretty self explanatory
cat game - meow
Rust and Blood - very expressive, also kind of makes me scrunch my nose because it reminds me of the smell/taste of copper.
April Was a Fool - Idk it amuses me
And all of Housekeeping's game titles, honestly.

Live long and prosper, Leonard Nimoy.

Aw noooo.
What a sad note to end the week on.
He'll be missed..

What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?

Yeeeeahh, I know. I bought it because I'd heard so many positive things about it. The gameplay ain't bad at all, but the story and characters are incredibly dull to me. D;
I wish I could say otherwise, and who knows? Maybe it'll grow on me eventually.

What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?

I've been playing Bravely Default...or rather forcing myself to because the blandness of it all has made it a real chore. :< What a let down.

Also playing Transistor, which I'm enjoying a heck of a lot more. Overall a very nice experience so far.
