author=mw121I had the same problem. The only way I could fix it was by uninstalling the font "Chiller." Then the in-game font appears readable.
I have got a problem with font size and quality. Letters are very small and practically unreadable. I installed VL-Gothic Regular font first, but that didn't help. Any solution ?
Kind of a nuisance, since Chiller is a font that came with my system and it took me quite a lot of experimenting to figure out I needed to remove it.

I think the prizes are fine. /shrugs/
Though for me contests are mainly just an additional form of motivation, and the best reward is recognition for my game.
The theme is broad, yeah, but something tells me it was meant to be. In order to draw more people into this newish site, perhaps they didn't want to narrow the field of interest by having a more specific topic. Although, I don't really see what harm something like spring could have done... Or maybe choosing a specific atmosphere like "haunting." Oh well, there's always next time.
I do think the site looks neat though!

I'm more or less on the same side as Pizza, regarding rips. But I'm still glad to see this message.
Everyone should always be credited for their work, whether they're an artist, musician, programmer--and whether they are on your team or not. It's not any tremendous effort to do that for them, and frankly it's just common courtesy.

[Poll] M.O.G. Multipart Event - pared down?
If I can find the time between work and my current game, I'd probably get in on something like this.
I don't really see where all the worry is coming from, honestly. I don't think the guidelines are as rigorous as some people were reading them.
In my understanding, you don't have to participate in every sub event. So if you wanted, you could devote the entire overarching timeline (or at least until the due date for your chosen deliverable) to creating one custom resource, be it music, graphics, etc. And since this isn't a contest, you're not really being pressured to meet the goal of creating a complete game.
I also really like the idea that Housekeeping and SnowOwl mentioned of being put in random teams. Though I think that could be a totally separate event for a later date and I'd still want to participate in both, since they exercise different dev muscles.

Pixel Quilt: Logo Edition!
Heyyy, thanks guys!
Miki, yeah I probably should have transitioned the stars a bit more smoothly.
Just didn't want to overlap the face too much. D:
And I'm totally gonna head over to the calendar quilt too.

Pfft wow. Excellent welcoming committee you guys have going here.
And thank you! I think I'm going to enjoy my stay here. I'll try to break out of my shell and contribute as much as I can.
