I'm creating a game with quests but no combat. It's gonna be strange.
Sounds like something I would be interested in playing. o:
I don't think all games need to "reward" their players as long as the experience itself is interesting/fun.

Dust to Dust
author=shayokorandom thoughts
the text style is really nice and feels different then what is common
yet easy to read
battles are gonna be a lil complicated :( still nice to see something different, even tho
may not like it
there's some seriously lovable dialog in this XD
expected it to be short, kind of wanted it not to be long to due the battle system
:3
Overall
I enjoyed this game
Gameplay
takes 2- hours to finish
has likable characters
sometimes amusing dialog
a somewhat rock paper scissors system with damage types
and a open ending
your skills are based on what weapon you have equipped
its a turn based battle system
Closing
not a lot to say about it due to its length really, but id recommend it if you want a shorter game and/or something w/o grinding
Hey there! Thanks for playing and leaving your impressions, I appreciate it!
I'm glad you enjoyed it. c:
This battle system won't be in the new version, and it'll also be longer and choices will have more impact on the story.
IDK HOW TO MAKE GAMES
What are you thinking about right now?
Andreja Pejic starting a kickstarter
How do you make friends?
I usually sit around and wait for them to come to me.
I've yet to see results.

Dust to Dust Review
Nah, I'm not disheartened. The game isn't even up to my own standards. I probably should have just said screw the contest and waited to release it until it was, but hey, at least I got some valuable feedback. So, yeah I'll definitely be releasing a new version. It may not come quickly though, since I'm a bit burnt out on this particular game right now, and concentrating on work and my main project for the moment, but I have every intention of doing it. I've already started the work on it.
Dust to Dust Review
I think the reason it felt rushed after a point was because, about halfway through the month I realized I couldn't finish the story in time for the contest. I started cutting scenes and areas and ended up rewriting good chunks of the plot just so it would still make sense. After that I pretty much lost my enthusiasm for the project and just wanted to get it done, I'm ashamed to admit.
Thanks again for your feedback, ya'll!
