I'm a very big fan of music of japanese role playing games for it has influenced me throughout my life since my early childhood. The day I saw Nobuo on the stage in front of me I decided I too will become a composer one day. It has been 9 years since that day.

You can't find my works anywhere right now, but that will change very soon this year as I will be contributing several original tracks for RMN Music Pack 2.

Your First Game

My first game was called Destiny's Child............

It told about some young guy whose sister got kidnapped by evil dark guys who needed her / or the protagonist to complete their evil plan to conquer the world. And the king's assistant was evil traitor, too!

The mapping was ok for RTP, but the concept and everything else along it were total shit. After playing first time other RM games, some like FF EN, I really started looking forward to improve a lot. My following projects were umm.. something like Dragon Slayer, Twin Kingdom Saga, some FF game, Mog Adventure, The Puppet, etc... I wish I still had few of those games.

ps. I have never been good with the names.

Ascendence

Rebezion: Thanks. Comments like that really make me want to show all that I've got in reserves and in planning, because it will be so much more than presented earlier. Just have to hope it all will hold together.

Eschalt: Cheers! What comes to the release and resources. In the demo versions they're probably going to be locked, but when the time for the final release comes, I don't see a particular reason to lock everything anymore. The idea to hold files to myself with demo releases, is to still maintain somewhat unique style to my project. However, once the full thing is out, it doesn't matter that much anymore - if you catch my drift.

What Makes Stereotypical jRPGs Terrible?

Melodrama and poor presentation.

Anyone play WoW around here?

I just stumbled upon the news about the new expansion today.

Even though I've played for my share of years WoW before, and even thought it's all about repeating the same again, the new races, zones and classes and all that. I'd like to test those out.. sheesh.

Goblins would be so cool to play. And what about the new class combinations? I always wanted to have either undead hunter or a blood elf warrior.

But starting to play that game again would be just massive time sink. :(

Let's Play: OBLIVION

Oh man, this makes me want to fondl- play my woodelf acrobat again. I recommed FCOM Oblivion mod package. It's most ridiculous shit ever to install, but I'd say it's worth it. It has the three biggest Oblivion mods included in it and synced to work together.

Your favorite type of thing to raid in RPGs

What is it exactly that makes sewers unpleasant dungeons for everyone? Is it that the design of sewers is generally overused and repeating itself, or is there some "deeper" phobia about sewers?..

Ascendence

No, not by far. Mostly everything in the game is rips, but there is still lots of custom work in the graphics. Several characters are half or full custom, and the poses are most custom. What comes to chipset, they're all rips, but usually highly edited and compiled. Plus I've added detail and extra tiles to the chipsets, etc.

So, they're not drawn by me, but still very customized.

Alucard (seriously, who thought of just reversing the name dracula?)
I DIDN'T EVEN REALIZE THAT UNTIL NOW. O__O

Anyone play WoW around here?

I've played WoW before. First high level chararacter was a level 60 human mage on vanilla WoW, with all the Netherwind shit and some AQ stuff. Leaded dkp with him in Naxx, but guild quited. =(

After TBC I played blood elf rogue and continued with him on Wotlk. Did lots of PvP, made him Conqueror (which was harder for post-vanilla races) and did lots of arenas. (Of course I did raid too, and our guild was horde side 1st, but people started slacking at summer and so did I. Haven't played since June.
