I got my face wiped twice trying to do Ultimate Seifer. I just can't accomplish much right now without an SS2/SG RW.

I'm greatly interested in this. FFI did allow some interpretation, and speculation. I would love to see what you're going to do with the Abandoned Castle since it is one of the more mysterious areas of FFI.
It's hilarious that you mention this as I just today went poking my other FF junkies asking if they knew any lore about the abandoned castles (Both the Western Keep and the Castle of Trials) apparently there isn't any lore we've been able to find about them on the internet, and coincidentally, I've already got ideas for them. It's just the mapping that's really bogging down my speed.

And here I read that they didn't actually include Excalibur (VI) in the last 50 draw I tried for Celes' weapon specifically... They reward me with 1 Mithril. Really? D:

Interesting question. I seem to recall watching a video at some point that discussed this problem (I think it was an Extra Credit episode about World of Warcraft, maybe?).

I got one 5* for my lucky pull. Gungnir. Not bad, I like Kain so it's okay. I did get a lot of 4*'s that I already had before, so now I have some good combined relic synergy equipment.

I would suggest you save one hero soul, in case you get a piece of equipment that gives a soul break for a character you don't have.
I like this logic. I'll probably hold em all for this circumstance.

I'm not sure, but I don't think that's correlated...?
I'm just talking about hero spirits not their MC's. Pretty sure you can't get a heroes MC without unlocking the hero first. (Unless for some reason you use Soul Crystals to get them)
This is why I got Locke, cuz I didn't see him on any of the upcoming events.
