Luckily there won't be any water rising or annoying eye teleportation puzzles. :P Mostly some Geyser using among other field ability puzzles. :p

Really? It's supposed to paralyze all enemies and allies movement for a few turns and give her 3 extra turns. I'll check it out and see what the issue is.
EDIT: Alright, I found the problem, I'll fix this up and update the game, sorry for the inconvenience. The Overtime skill works properly, give me an hour to get this fixed. :P

Valerie isn't really feisty though, haha.
Her concept art is very "Don't talk to me, you piece of trash. You disgust me."
She doesn't really insult people like that, but she's very... gung-ho about her job, so she won't hesitate to put unruly people in their place. With a bit of tsundere added in the mix, haha! XD

Yeah, GreatRedSpirit's comment was my exact thoughts as well, hence why I wanted to change it for months but couldn't think of anything, so I went with the generic pose, which works for her considering her weapon of choice.
The pose has been implemented already into the game, I just need to change the moving and hurt poses as well, but that shouldn't take long for me.
