Oh, didn't notice that the patch was gone, I'll upload the new version on here instead of having people waiting for a patch. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Let's Play: Phantasia Remake - Parts 01 - 03
Probably a bad idea to play this, I haven't gone back to fix a lot of stuff that I may have or may have not missed. But I'll watch the video and see if there's anything I missed.
Just don't expect this game to be in working order, I should go back to this one and go through it as well and try and fix what I can. :P

I just tried entering straight into town like you mentioned and it works just fine for me. I'd recommend downloading the patch just in case. I did update it recently, if it still does it, I'll re-upload it.

I sometimes have to use the black outline mostly because if I don't, they blend in with tilesets/battle backround making it a little hard to see.
Maybe I'll use the dark grey to replace the black, but it may look awkward. I'll try it out. :P
