Oh, go talk to Vicks, then that should fix that. I guess I should make it clear that you should also talk with Vicks as well in the game, I'll put that in to avoid confusion.

Shit! RPG Advocate! I haven't heard that name in years! Whatever happened to that guy? Last thing I remember was that one game he was making on RPG Maker XP, the name escapes me though... I think it was phylomortis or something, and the game had a very... increased vocabulary.

Because you've all had access to a pirated version for YEARS and they let you. Now that a legal version is out - asked for by many of us - buy it to pay back for all the time you've used the illegal version. It's not a huge cost and it's a great little engine even if it does have some bits and bobs that aren't perfect.
Ha ha ha, that's the main reason why I bought it, as appreciation for being able to use all these years. :P
But ever since buying rm2k3. It awoke something in me again that I'm trying to quell really bad, I've moved on to VX Ace. But... damn it... T_T;

I'm a tad confused here, how do I get the battle events to run in the common event thigie? I'm starting to wonder if I got ahead of myself and misunderstood the feature of it. A little clarification would definitely help in this regard.

...Okay... this whole having the battle events on the common events thing... that just may be the greatest thing that was updated to rm2k3... it'll make managing battle events 10x easier this way too....
this requires a LOT more experimenting...
God damn it, I made it clear that I was done with 2k3 for the time being and now here I am going back to the damn thing. Ha ha ha.
EDIT: Also, holy crap Trance, where've ya been man!?

As soon as I heard this it was instant buy on Steam.
There is only a few gripes that I hope gets resolved in due time.
Support of .ogg files. C'mon, all those music tracks I bought on Steam/RM Store, I'd like to use em' in rm2k3 as well man. :D
The limits for enemies, I am so used to having my end game enemies above the 99999 HP limit. Now, the REAL big question for me too is... has the actual engine been improved to load up big games?
Should also be able to show pictures during battle, that was a nice feature to have when DynRPG's stuff did that.
I'm sure a few of us know that feeling of waiting 2-3 minutes every time we make a new switch or a new... SOMETHING with events or even the database?
If a lot if not all of these have been solved later, then count me one grinning prick. But it's still good to see rm2k3 officially here.
EDIT: Just tried loading up one of my biggest rm2k3 games, and sadly it doesn't load it any faster. And I noticed DynRPG's plugins don't work as well. Oh well.
I suppose I can work on one of my older projects that doesn't require all that loading time I guess. ha ha ha.

*facepalm*...Right. I forgot, this is rmvxace we're talking here... just download the patched game on my downloads, it was long since fixed, just move your save data to the newly downloaded title.

Click the link that I posted above yours, download it, then copy that downloaded file into your LLVX Ace folder and then inside that folder, look for the data folder, paste that said file, and there you go.

There, I did a double check to make sure that problem doesn't happen. Now you can go through the desert. I don't know why that part didn't have a switch. Ugh. >_>;
