Umm... Let me give you advice: Read a little about how fangames are seen when made by newcomers (wich don't even post a screenshot or detail it or something) in ALL RPGmaker communities. With no exceptions. It's just that fangaming is generally seen as something bad when there's no proof it's good. (Altough there are many good fangames out there) there's a slight chance that somehow, somewhere, someone will burn you for asking this. Advertise given, try creating other things such as the story of your fangame, planning, etc. Present something, and then ask.

Also, I believe this would be truly complicated, too complicated for most of us to spend our (very little) precious shiny time explaining to a newcomer that has 90% chance of giving up after seeing how much is this complicated. >:

I really dislike Hip Hop. But... I liked Lulu's theme remix.... A little.
Hymn of the Fayth Hip Hop ver. is... Funny.
I'm getting scared by those stuff. Ant To Zanarkand remixes are foul.

Yeah, they're generally less detailed because there would involve too much work detailing every frame... Still, it doesn't look bad, it looks very nice most times. (Such as in your case) and, about your soft shading... I'd recommend seeing some tutorials about pillowshading in pixelart, as it applies on normal drawings too. I think that might be your only major problem. (And I can't see the minor ones, 'm awful at critiquing people other than myself... xD)

Actually now that I think of it, this pic has that feeling of 3D characters on prerendered background that starts moving... Such as in the end of the Dollet mission. xD

(Tough not 3D, not as if that was a problem.)

Lots of things look really awesome in your game, really awesome, but.... The map isn't one of them... :T
It kinda feels too empty. Hm... Maybe adding shadows to the houses (except when they're on fire, of course) or something... I dunno. Make it more cluttered.. More floor tiles, etc. Don't you think it's a good Idea? c=

I'm looking foward to this, seems to be a fun project. ^Â¬^

Anyways, umm... I'm loving this... Hm... But maybe, just maybe, their shading could shape up after the background, so it blends better? Hm, no, I don't think it's necessary, I'm just brainstorming.

Cool, but... "Rush"? Well, I'll think of something, but what "rush" is? This seems very nice.
EDIT: Also, the percentages are actually based on the character's Power?

So if Trent has Power of 20, steel strike deals 12 dmg and Boost Morale recovers 80 Hp?
