That's exactly why i say for you to remove - and remove in similar occasions too.
For two reasons... Two weak reasons but oh well.
This kind of shading ends subconciously cluttering the player's visual perception - In sum, it causes a small, generally unpercieved nuisance. Wich is somewhat annoying.
The other is that it diminishes file sile (really little, but heym it does!) and, mainly, it makes it easier for you to store palette data if you're using GraphicsGale for editing the sprites. Sorry if i've been a nuisance, just wanted to help. :p

Oh. I'm brazillian. I learnt english by playing Final Fantasy somewhat long ago. Don't ´pick on me because of my bad english. Thanks!
