Ok, really quick. Before I go on about my game demo and what not. I would like to point a few things out for you all. My friends say they like my game, but i suffer from the disease known as Cliche. Not on purpose of course, but I do my best to avoid that. Lastly, my strengths as a game designer are battle animations, creating my own resources, special features and my weakness is cliche and mapping at times. Now, onto the good stuff.


FATAL FANTASY A TALE OF TWO WORLDS

Story
Long ago when the world was young. Everything in existence was that of a pure heart. From the grazing animals, to the every so enthusiastic humans. Your every desires could be done without a second thought or someone to stand in your way. There existed a force known as Magic, a beautiful power that had many possibilities. One of those, unforgettably was evil and bad intent. See, there is also a evil demon world. The two worlds have never crossed paths, until one fateful day about 1000 years ago. A demon with a cold heart had the desire to take over earth. He began to work on his evil art of magic, for years he went through intense training. He then harnessed the power to open a gate to earth. He began to ravish the world that he claimed for his own. Earth was on the brink of destruction when the legendary heroes arose to attempt to put and end to rage. A long and bloody battle ensued with each side striking near mortal blows. In the end, the evil was near destroyed. Instead of killing him, they sent him back to his world and four mystic crystals were created to lock that world away so his dream of taking of earth will forever have to stay in his mind. However, the heroes didn't know that great evil planted a seed on the earth. that once grown. Will begin an evil quest to collect the crystals and re start his blood thirsty take over.

Blue Magic System (Similar to the FF series)
Summon Leveling System (The summoner equips the summons and levels them up to become stronger)
Ability System (The character can only equip four at a time, the idea is for better strategy)
Talent System (The character uses a system similar to how a WoW characters talent tree)
Star Point System (Special currency allows you to buy status increasing items)
Rune System (You level the runes up allowing you to teach skills to any character)
Town System (A town creation system like Suikoden)

In closing words, Id like to say this. Please don't comment to harsh on the cliche of my story. I am fully aware of that :D. Please give me any feedback on errors, mapping or whatever. The typical things when someone posts a new game. Thanks guys, have fun with my game.

I have been registered for a good while now, to my knowledge i didn't say hello or anything. Well, here it goes everyone.

My name is Jeromy Parker, I live in Pittsburgh PA. I have been working with the RPG Maker series since 2000. Though I never released anything major (I only finished two games since 2000, lol.) I loved doing it. My maker of choice is RM2K/3. VX and XP are OK, but for some reason I like RM2K/3 better. My favorite RPG series is, believe it or not ISN'T Final Fantasy, though I do like them (to many people have it as their favorite.) I am absolutely in love with the "Tales Of" series, my favorite game being "Tales Of Phantasia PSX Remake.

There is alot of good people here and I am glad to be apart of this site.

EDIT: Oh and I forgot to mentioned. I am getting married October 10th.

Hi all, I am currently working a retro style game, all NES graphics. Most of which I will be making myself. Though I am having alot of trouble finding a NES style system graphic (RM2K3) for some reason. Can anyone make one for me or direct me to one?
