Basically the short answer if you don't want to read it:
America is a Oligarchy.

Are any of you guys in a bad financial situation?

I don't believe in college debt or should I say debt in general. it's what has put so many people in misery. I've grown so tired of how the economic system runs.

But aside from that, I'm having a hard time myself. I'm a college student just trying to get by, but at the same time I always feel immensely guilty I still have to rely on my folks for some things. Here I'am just trying to find that one good job that I'm wondering l'll ever find. So many places only want limited days/part-time.

Luckily I did land my very first job, and thus I got "skills" these entry jobs apparently require in the first place, but the ironic thing is..IT IS a entry level job I landed awhile back. How can you get skills in the first place? The logic fails on some of these entry-level jobs. You must have two years experience....for doing simple crap?

What are you thinking about right now?

I still hope the idea we try a event where the RPG maker community is the cast in a game, and maybe make Dr.Toadly the main villain (because he's mentioned quite alot, just makes sense to me)...also Addit suggested that #shump be also main antagonists. (I've been here for quite sometime before I even registered, but I don't know what #Shump is, I must have missed that on here).

Just seemed to me it might work considering how tight knit of a community the people are in here.

It would be one filled hilarious event where everything goes. Just let the imagination run wild.

Underwater.png

I'm loving this scene, that is probably the best underwater scene I've seen in RPG maker.

The Last King of Hyrule

That looks wonderful! Thank you for fixing the sprite up, when I found it at Spriter's resource, I could not figure why the maker of it made it so small. This is back when I was learning paint.net and I had a hard time resizing it.

@Ratty, I was really limited when it came to aquatic bosses, and this sprite was like the only one I could work with for Zelda-II purposes, I just had to change the colors around. I really wanted to try something different, and spriter's resource answered it. I couldn't imagine a more perfect original boss considering how limited the spriter's resource was. It's a shame really because alot of the custom sprites are all LTTP, but anything for Zelda II was almost non-existent.

@Solitayre, what do you think of the water temple boss? Can it still work?

Uploaded new update, and changed something minor too for the arena. I got to say it looks alot better!

The Last King of Hyrule

Update:

Greatly cleaned up Gerudo-npc type 1, looks more visually better. Also managed to get the scorpions to work properly (for the most part).

Update:
Went to put in CREDITS for the person who made those sprites. (those were not too bad to edit into NES-like sprites..it's just very slightly snes, but not enough to notice).

The Last King of Hyrule

Kind of wondering who is going to do towns, and the Hyrule Castle(if it's needed). We only got one village, and that's Kakariko.

What are you thinking about right now?

Thinking about right now:

Getting that damnable Zelda-II Scorpion to work right. Damn it's stinger, and legs!

The Last King of Hyrule

Greatly updated the Gerudo Desert, and another type of Gerudo-thief talkable-npc.Sprites are made by MacX5 case anyone is wondering, they are actually alot more detailed, I just tried make them more nes-like in appearance.

I made one gerudo say in a hypothetical that you are approaching the Spirit Temple. Thought I give a heads up.

Stayed up all night, gonna go sleep. I will finish off the desert later in the day when I wake up. Also I did my own little twist on the leevers, and looked like it turned out well. I just need to somehow get that Land-zora to cooperate next, and the scorpion monster.(I've had alot problems with the scorpion). My only regret is that I actually wanted the Leever to spawn up from the sand, but I'm not quite sure how to do that with SMBX or if it's even possible.

The Last King of Hyrule

Okay, both the palace, and the boss arena have been updated. I've adjusted the platform where you land on for the boss to be where you will not get hit immediately. His water bullets are at a angle that it would be pretty hard to hit you maybe except for one stray one that I've noticed, so he'll still keep you on your feet, but not as badly anymore. The left, and right platforms spread around the center are danger zones, so get what you need, and run off of it. There is amulet in there that can turn link to stone(that light-brownish one) as a benefit when going under the arena should that you have messed up somewhere.

Now for the palace, I've spread out more healing items, and I've re-adjusted a underwater room that I've felt was too difficult, so I've replaced a part of it and placed blue tektikes guarding a key. I also changed another one, and removed some spikes in one particular room, and also removed a couple enemies in other rooms.

Feel free to update me soon as possible since we're close to the deadline. I'm going to go ahead and finish off this desert I was working on. I got awesome idea for those leevers tonight.

Update 2:
Removed a few enemies again, less octoroks in certain parts.

Fixed a small oversight

Added few more hearts. I've added a couple in the mini-boss room considering his difficulty because of the water rather than the mini-boss itself.(hmm I wanted to put those hearts in containers, but this damned SMBX won't let me).
