What are you thinking about right now?
Well it went through many changes, so in the end The Sapphire ended up looking like a heart with a Sword on top with the triforce in the middle. The jewel had three sapphires thus three slot blue slots. It's mainly used as a flag for the temple I've made for the Zelda-Last King of Hyrule Event.

This is for Hali, what you can do that can save you alot of time is to use these sprites, and edit them to look more NES-like(the best way possible), and go from there. Or make your own version, choice is yours. :-)

Also this, this could be tricky to give them NES graphics though:

This is for Keinor if he is still active for the forest temple, I came across this. All it will need is a touch up to look more NES like:

Update:
After many failed attempts at creating a NES waterfall. I decided instead to take the existing water-body that was available in the existing graphics for Zelda only, and took pieces of it to form a waterfall (it's that body of water that has white specks moving around). I also created a small distortion effect to make even look more better to give it more personality, so it was not a total sloppy copy of a existing cut,and paste graphic. It's amazing what you can do with paint.net. I hope this semi-custom Zelda waterfall helps you all out in your projects as well. If you wish to edit the waterfall to be more better be my guest:

The Last King of Hyrule
Alright I think I need to bring out a difference between the Zoran races:
This is the what they call a River Zora (In water):

They occupy all various points across Hyrule in watery areas, so they are almost everywhere. Now this can be used for another kind of re skin that shoots fireballs. I think the Fire-breathing Piranha Plant would make a good substitute for a re-skin rather than the firetrap plant. River Zora's sprite looks simple enough that it can be easily implemented.
_____
This is a River Zora's land cousin from Zelda II:

A few turn up on crossings over rivers, but most inhabit caves, and deserts far from their usual watery habitats. It's interesting to note though they are called Basilisks, but are indeed a variation of a River Zora.
I think most enemies will do to use this sprite for various purposes.
_____
Then there is also your friendly Zoras that everyone knows about it. Also I just hit the jackpot, look what I found! Zelda II custom zora, kokiri, and Goron sprites!:

(Oh speaking about Sheik earlier in the thread, why not not make him a side-story character for future development after this game is done?). Treat it like DLC sorta. Also I might do something about those SNES waterfalls I have going in the palace. I will try to NES those if I can.

I probably need to mention I left a hypothetical small area at the beginning of my level when you walk straight into the palace. It's called the Haunted Coast, and I propose that the Oceanic Palace(Water temple) be placed along the coast-line that would require a raft to reach. The Haunted Coast would be filled with aquatic undead, and other monstrosities. It's just an idea I'm throwing around for you all.
As for the Zoras are we both going to use the evil and the friendly ones? I will see about attempting at creating a evil zora using the firetrap plants. If I could make a flag then I can attempt it.
