Is grinding a flaw in rpgs?
It all depends on the rpg. I prefer minimal grinding, but a little (LITTLE) makes the game slightly better in my opinion. Going to wait for more replys now.

I went in the Stone Fortress with a Yoshi. You leave the Yoshi behind and all. But if you die and go back to the saved point, you'll have your Yoshi with you! So I ate the boss.
More games need the ability to eat bosses.
