Well, I'm an old guy, 71(crap,there goes another year:( who loves RPGs, especially Action, Adven., ever since my older brother got me hooked on The Legend of Zelda.
Would LOVE to create a game of my own. Even purchased the ACE program, but got frustrated when I could not even make a decent town river :(
But that's ok, I still love these independent games..

Star Stealing Prince
Does anyone know why I can not play Star Stealing Prince ??
I downloaded both the regular and the rtp downloads.
I cannot open the game.
Right after the download I click on "open" and just get a fast blip on my screen.
When I bring up my "downloads", I can keep unzipping but nothing else happens.
The only thing I can figure is I do not have winrar and this does say rar on the download.
I have opened several games with 7zip but this one does not work.
Anyone have any great ideas ??? :)

RPG Maker 2000
Since you have never seen me before this you can figure out for yourself....I'm new here :)
Have played several games and enjoy most of them.
My problem is that many of the games are made with RPG Maker 2000.
The Download for that engine no longer works and I can seem to find
a download on the internet.
Anyone know where I can find a copy so I can play games make on 2000 ??

Well, I did download it..... :(
Although it looked good and I really wanted to play it.....again :(
It will not SAVE
Figured it was because I did not have RPG Maker 2000 so I tried downloading that....
problem is when I tried to unzip rpgmaker 2000, it kept telling me I had rpgmaker2003.

Real Time Battle
I've been looking for real time battle games similar to
Legend of Zelda the original.
Link has a sword, uses it to kill monsters, finds gold and articles to wear.
Does many side and major quests.
QUESTION: why don't game makers create more of this type of game.
Why are MOST games Party driven ??

I did download the RPGVXACE, but not sure where to find the RTP.

I'm lost.
I love to wander around and look at things and see what there is to see :)
Did that, and now I'm lost and can't find my way to the start area so I can do what has to be done :(
Is there any map or will you be putting one in the game like the original Zelda so you can see were you are on the overall map. ?
