Well, I'm an old guy, 71(crap,there goes another year:( who loves RPGs, especially Action, Adven., ever since my older brother got me hooked on The Legend of Zelda.
Would LOVE to create a game of my own. Even purchased the ACE program, but got frustrated when I could not even make a decent town river :(
But that's ok, I still love these independent games..

KEEP THEM COMING :)

Astoria: The Holders of Power Saga Review

Thank God I don't know how to make duplicate accounts or Link and Zelda might no longer be beloved by RMN :(

A quick inexperienced search by myself tells me this game maker has made this one game only and made approx. $1500 on kickstarter aside from anything he may have gotten from Steam.

I would think the maker might have done a little research before putting his game on a site like RMN and finding out how long RMN has been around and how knowledgeable the people running the show here might be.

Either he will give up making games or walk the straight and narrow knowing he screwed up and has learned an important lesson.

OK, gotta go buy some cat litter.
Have a good day everyone.....

Ugh, I kinda hate that 3ds doesn't have like gameshark codes anymore :( all just saves now.

Wish you could hook 3DS to the TV like the Switch.
Looks like they have a lot of the games similar to LOZ that I enjoy but my vision
is not the greatest so 3DS screen would be hard for me :( oh well, COME ON SWITCH.

Crafting in Games

author=RedMask
How do you all feel about crafting in games?Personally I was never a fan. The few games that had crafting always annoyed me because I felt they were too intuitive and random.
But recently while playing Zelda BOTW I was introduced to its cooking mechanics which are basically a crafting system and you know what it actually works. I find it very intuitive. So these days I am in favor of crafting as long as its done in an easy to understand way.

OH PLEASE, RedMask, tell us (me) :) what great meals you have crafted.
When I try mixing unknowns, all I get is that dumb unknown concoction :)

But, I do so love this game but do not enjoy my weapons breaking in the middle of battle :)

New Hampshire Almost Accidentally Passes a Law Allowing Pregnant Women to Commit Murder.

I am so sad for all you guys :( :( :(

Maybe you should consider forming a group for self-preservation :)

Anybody want a kitten that is about to get dead?? :)
The cat I had for 17&1/2yrs had to go to sleep :( and the Vet. talked me into taking a kitten someone left at his front door....part Abyssinian, really cute but a monster. He gets into everything and my arms are all scratched up. What a little monsters...but purrrrrrs like crazy:)
Now, the ex. wife called and wants to go for a ride. My life is hell :)

As for games.....I read several pages of about the games all you folks are playing and I wonder why I'm so hooked on Breath of The Wild.
It's the only game that has ever hooked me till the end.
I've got about 25 games sitting on the shelf for 3 other consoles and Zelda is the only game I can still play :(

Ah, maybe I should go whine on another forum thread?? :) hahahahaha
Hope you people can manage to finish a few games so you can have a life outside your cave :) haha

[Poll] IS THE BREATH OF THE WILD (THE ZELDA) REALLY THAT BAD?

Sad you are not taking the time to get information on the game.
There is so much all of you are missing of this great game.
I don't want to use guides my first time through a game.
also, what kentona and LockeZ said

Guess I'm not as bright as kentona :) Boy, kentona is probably smiling at my admission :) crap, guess I better also include LockZ before he feels slighted.
It's just that I really am enjoying this game and hate for anyone to finish it without finding everything.
Also, I be an old person and have trouble without a guide :)

So I found a cute doggie and it rolled over like it wanted a belly rub BUT I COULDN'T PET IT
They programmed a doggie to beg for pettings, but then DIDN'T PROGRAM THE OPTION TO ACTUALLY GIVE IT THE PETTINGS
LITERALLY THE WORST GAME EVER

Well, turkeyDawg, maybe you simply did not feel like checking the internet for a walkthrough. There are dogs at several locations in the game. The ONLY dogs that help you are those that you stand or sit next to and colored bubbles appear. If they appear 3 times, the dog will then take you to a local treasure. Otherwise, yes, they roll on their back or chase their tales :) Sad you are not taking the time to get information on the game.
There is so much all of you are missing of this great game.

I'm not sure but this seems to be the most in depth walkthrough so far:

Crafting in Games

Crafting sometimes could be enjoyable, but also could be pretty boring when you are doing it over and over again.

You're right but as you enter a Shrine and when that Damn Blood Moon rises....you can stop the cut scene by hitting the X or + sign. It helps.

I've heard crafting systems are cooler than fishing and blue magic so I decided to throw one in.

Actually, put on the ZORA gear and do a dive from a 100ft cliff :) After hitting the water you can speed swim to catch the fish unawares :)

As in the Shrines, you can "skip" watching Link while the meal is cooking, but sometimes I actually get a chuckle watching Link humming and dancing back and forth waiting for the meal to be done. The part I'm not happy with is when you hear the clinking and get an unknown result :)
So far, I've enjoyed everything about the game.
