Well, I'm an old guy, 71(crap,there goes another year:( who loves RPGs, especially Action, Adven., ever since my older brother got me hooked on The Legend of Zelda.
Would LOVE to create a game of my own. Even purchased the ACE program, but got frustrated when I could not even make a decent town river :(
But that's ok, I still love these independent games..

Piano: I doubt there's much interest, but I felt like bragging.

For a first game, expecially for a 13yr old, you deserve a little slack and encouragment.
Downloading and will let you know what an old gamer thinks :)
EDIT: So, I just started your game.
Found a few misspellings and grammar errors. I have the same problem, you can clean then up later and redownload your game with some other fixes.
The Innkeeper was not very nice to me :( she would not let me stay at her Inn but I can always ask Mom as she will always heal me :)
Dragronsprite, I do very much like the music on the playing field since it was The Legend of Zelda that got me started playing these games :) BUT, might you get in trouble for using that music without permission. I don't really know I do know things that are copy writed and used without permission can get people in trouble.
The last thing is what Liberty said about one of your screenshots: the book cases look like they are hanging on the walls :) not standing on the floors.
Overall, your game is cute and I'm very jealous over someone your age being able to create such a nice game and I can't even a demo though I love these games and would really like to make one myself.

Actually, Sgt. took pity on me when I sent him a message and he returned my call for help with the directions.
I've finished the game and must say, I had a good time playing.
The humor and battles, the mapping, the....EVERYTHING :) was really enjoyable.
