Well, I'm an old guy, 71(crap,there goes another year:( who loves RPGs, especially Action, Adven., ever since my older brother got me hooked on The Legend of Zelda.
Would LOVE to create a game of my own. Even purchased the ACE program, but got frustrated when I could not even make a decent town river :(
But that's ok, I still love these independent games..

Yes Liberty I know what your saying. I agree, even though I did try to defend it as being a very ADULT game and was trying to be humorous. I think Housekeepping said it better than me but I do understand. In fact, I've thought a few 1-3 games might also be a bit much but did not say anything. So? we're still buddies? :)
OH DAMN, just when I was about to sign off....pianotm goes and posts half a story.
PLEASE GOD, don't let me get into another heated discussion, I have TV programs I want to watch tonight.
I do agree, the incident DOES need to be investigated.
The cop pulled him over for NO PLATE like the state requires.
The man gives him a bottle of gin, then says he does not even have a drivers lic.
The cop asked several time for a lic. before the man admitted to not having one.
The cop asked him to remove his seat belt and exit the car, he then started to open the door the guy and the man who is now dead, not only grabbed the door from the cops hand, he put it in gear and hit the gas.
So what, no cop is now allowed to stop someone for what the state requires and then when a person hands the cop a bottle of booze, he is then allowed to refuse any other request by a cop and hit the gas to escape???????
PS that guy also had a record of several arrest.
As for the Sandra Bland...extremely sad but she had mental problems.
It would have been better if the jail had cameras so her POSSIBLE suicide could have been prevented.

so but I have a problem with cop haters even though I have received a few tickets my self and don't love them. They have an extremely dangerouse job and should be held accountable but only when like the cop who shot a running man in the back.

And so, we come to the only really worthy thing to discuss about this game, the battle system :)
I just got off the phone with a friend and the problems she was having with her doctor and her older sister who is sick both physically and mentally and all her frustrations.
Considering the above all I can really say is talk about the battle system if it is interesting enough.
The conversation we've been having and the barbs thrown about are trivial compared to what my friend is going through and the terrible things happening in this world.

Some of us got all the way to the Ice Orc or all the way to the Ice Orc in the video before stopping....

Yes folks, that game was meant to be humorous but it was in fact for very adult players who did not mind very adult, dark humor.

@unity, I'm really sorry that my post upset you. Of course I did not mean to upset you or anyone else.
The problem is one of the things I will not stand for is someone speaking down to me.
We were all discussing a game, "it's just a game".
Yes, as I posted before it was really gross in the way the Hawkman spoke to and about the women in the game and I acknowledged that. I also said I agreed that it needed to let anyone who was checking it out that it was abusive to women.
I also posted that some people were able to understand it was also humorous just as some who go see the stage performers who are utterly crude in their type of humor.
I can not agree that almost anything should be discussed on this forum where young people who are impressionable can read some of the things discussed in the way they are on this forum considering how often some go on rants and speak about certain topics in the base way they do.
No everyone does that but a few do go overboard and speak as if they know everything about the subject and everyone needs to agree with them.
It's like unity said :) clarity is important and I do my damndest to make myself clear and usually apologize if I'm wrong. Some people just come across in my mind as though they are a "know it all" and speak down to me so I get PISSED (really don't know what emoticon to use now :)

I did try what you said and accidentally downloaded software I downloaded last week and it took me 2hrs to get rid of...Chromia I think it's called.
Oh well, now that the download is here I will play it :)

Maybe it did not strike those talking about it on this thread in that way but I do believe the developer did not make it to degrade women in general. IF HE HAD, even I would not have played it and WOULD have messaged you or kentona about it's content.
WAIT!!!! I think there is a thread on this forum concerning a petition to outlaw revenge porn against women. I TOOK THE TIME TO FIND THAT PETITION AND SIGNED IT.
Not to boast, just so others who might think I'm insensitive to some things like rape can know I ain't a bad person :)
