Well, I'm an old guy, 71(crap,there goes another year:( who loves RPGs, especially Action, Adven., ever since my older brother got me hooked on The Legend of Zelda.
Would LOVE to create a game of my own. Even purchased the ACE program, but got frustrated when I could not even make a decent town river :(
But that's ok, I still love these independent games..

The Joy of Quest
OK, so the bad boss ain't no more :)
Really, any of you who enjoy RPG/Adventure games should try this game.
The monsters/enemies are not all that hard to beat so strategists need not apply :)
Battle scenes, weapons, spells are also enjoyable.
The interaction between the characters is very entertaining and you might even smile.
Sure hope the developer gets approval to upload this game onto RMN so I don't get in trouble for double posting :(

I'm almost done. Getting close to finding and demolishing the wicked boss.
The game is exactly what the creator says it is, "The Joy of Quest".
If you enjoy questing, this game is for you.
Not a big world, but questers don't really need a big world :)
IMHO, the mapping is pretty good.
The battles are fun since they are not too, too hard :)
One of the best parts though is the humor.
The developer seems to have a good sense of humor and I did in fact get several
good chuckles out of this game.
Not sure if this is the developers first game, but if so, he/she needs to get busy and make a few more :)

Year End Retrospective: Overall Bestest Game Edition
Well, I don't play DEMOs :( If I did and it was not completed for 6mos or more as happens to so many Demos, I would not be able to remember what happened in the Demo, so I'd lose interest.
I found "Hey Dude, Where's My Speeder" on another site and suggested he drag it on over here, so I'm glad it got noticed and played. It was an enjoyable game for anyone who likes Star Wars.
I play tested "Alone At Last" so again, glad I had a hand in a game that others enjoyed.
Now for my BESTEST game I will name "Pastlife: Legend of Eloria".
I know some may not agree, but then if you know me, you know I got hooked on this kind of game and have no interest in Internet 3D games cause I got hooked on Legend of Zelda.
I got giddy and could not stop playing Pastlife, then was sad when it ended :(
Per the developer, it is his first game. The only real problem I saw was a little mapping problem in the "forest". Not much of an ongoing story as the game progressed, killing monsters with a swinging sword and magic balls of fire flying at the enemy is my favorite pastime :)
Sure hope I don't get in trouble for triple posting as I was not sure how to bump it back up for others to see :)
There were a few others I played or am playing, but I don't how you folks remember them so well that you're able to describe them for others on this post :)

I searched for more games by the developer but they were on DROPBOX? and you had to join giving them access to your emails IF I READ the "terms of service" correctly.
Sure would like to find more games like this.
Maybe now I will not be posting here all by my lonesome :(

Pastlife: Legend of Eloria

This was pretty much one of the most fun games I found on RMN and it looks like the developer dropped it here but never hung around :)
Great ABS game with several dungeons and different types of monsters, weapons and armor, etc....
Now I have to go find another game by volke_locke :)
