Well, I'm an old guy, 71(crap,there goes another year:( who loves RPGs, especially Action, Adven., ever since my older brother got me hooked on The Legend of Zelda.
Would LOVE to create a game of my own. Even purchased the ACE program, but got frustrated when I could not even make a decent town river :(
But that's ok, I still love these independent games..

What are you thinking about right now?
There are people who take bacon and chicken fat, put it in a container and then in the fridge.
Comes time for a great treat, they make toast and spread the chicken or bacon fat on the toast. mmmmmmmmbacon toast :)
I've never had it, but I do believe the folks in England love "haggas"?? Don't remember what it is made from, but I believe it has to do with guts and innards of all types :)
So, if you were being forced to eat one or the other....which would you gobble down? :)

Unless it has been cancelled, I believe The Flash is being made by the CW Network. Supposed to be a spin off of ARROW.

Maiden of Maia Review
I might try but, Badran did say he was going to use ACE to make a new Maiden of Maia. I guess that I enjoy the games more then taking notes and writing :( I'm pretty sure you had to take notes to find all the items you listed in your review. If I did that, I'd never be able to play all the other games :(
And now I've found a game breaking bug :(
When you go into the sewers of Paz with Sarahs key, there is a switch to open a door so you can get into the 2nd part of the sewer. WELL, I went back through the door by accident and....the door will not open again since the switch does not reset. I think that means you cannot go any further into the game. I even fought all the monsters to go back into town and then back into the sewers to open the door again but no, the switch is busted. :)
And now I've found a game breaking bug :(

That's ok Kylaila, I was just kidding with nhubi.
I know finding bugs is a look thing, it helps the developers to make better games in the future.
As I told EVERYONE:) I really enjoyed this game the first time I played it and I'm enjoying it just as much the 2nd time around.
Honestly, considering this is Badrans first game and the fact that English is not his first language, I think Maiden is a very enjoyable game and the few bugs don't really take away from my enjoyment. The graphics, the story and the way the characters interact and their feelings for each other mean a lot more to me than a few bugs.
I know finding bugs is a look thing, it helps the developers to make better games in the future.

I'm already at Paz and into the sewar.
But I did check and I have one "onuryi"? equipped and the old sword.
Your right, you cannot switch the weapons and there is one more bug? I have a second onuryi in my inventory and the hero looks like he can equip TWO weapons as there is a left and right hand weapon but you cannot equip the second weapon.
Damn, am I really helping you find bugs and defaming the game I love :( :) haha

hey, don't drag me into this just cause I convinced Badran to move his game onto this site after I found it on the VX forum :) hahahaha
But I do think I would like to say something about the following:
"As for Aurora, there is a little growth I will grant you but she's still all about being rescued, she had the 'I can annihilate your village with my power' skill right from the beginning of the game, so she isn't helpless at all, why portray her as such?"
I'm playing this for the second time and yes, I still enjoy it but then I don't mind grinding a bit to become "allpowerful" and some spelling/grammar is OK with me:)
In the second go round I'm finding Aurora is great for healing the ninja and herself. As for her power to destroy a village, and she did use it to kill several ninjas in the beginning of the game, she does not really know the deadly power she has. She does not really know the real power comes out when she becomes angry and threatened. I think the first time it happened, she said something like "what just happened?"
Damn, now I have to wait till the VX version comes out :)

Badran, I'm glad you replied before me since you said it much better than I could have :)
In fact, I'm playing the Maiden again just to see if I can see what nhubi saw.
He/she:) is right about the spelling/grammar, but personally, I do not find it nearly as bad and distracting as I've seen in several other games. Actually, I have had to stop playing and delete a few other games where it was so bad. And I am not sure, but I believe english is not your first language, so the little mistakes I saw are easily overlooked.
Also, I thought the animated sprites were cute with the bopping and weaving :)
I wonder when I read a review sometimes if it's really just that persons, enjoyment for that type of game.
Yes, a few things could be changed, but I'm sure since you purchased the ACE engine you will be working on those things to make chapter 2 even better than one. I bought ACE but golly, I can't even make a damn river :(
