Well, I'm an old guy, 71(crap,there goes another year:( who loves RPGs, especially Action, Adven., ever since my older brother got me hooked on The Legend of Zelda.
Would LOVE to create a game of my own. Even purchased the ACE program, but got frustrated when I could not even make a decent town river :(
But that's ok, I still love these independent games..

I cut my teeth on Links first game, but also enjoyed #2 so am sitting on the edge of my seat. Please don't make me wait too long or I might slip off and break a buttock :)

@amerk, yep. You and I pretty much look at games the same way.
I usually look at the engine used. They type, I prefer Adv./Rpg/Action.
If it's got comedy I should enjoy it.
I've also found a few developers I think create good games.
Sorry to say, some are never finished :(

Where the hell are all these new games coming from.

I have 18 games on my desktop that I need to play, some are even a few years old but I'm just downloading them.
NOW, I'm seeing several new games a week hitting this site.
I'm a disabled vet who spends a few hours a day playing but am now having trouble keeping up :)

Well now...a cheat to make me strong...
Went back to see what I may have missed. Now I may be really strong after revisiting a town....yes?? or no????

Widows of the Vampyr
Sure wish I was not the first to post :( Was really looking forward to this game because I enjoy the type of game you made.
It's a demo, but I thought it was a completed game since that is how it's marked.
The light hearted banter is funny, similar to a few other games I've played but still funny.
Found I was able to walk all over the kitchen equipment/furniture. Also, I was able to walk right past the Skeleton outside the cave where the Innkeepers daughter is trapped. Sorry to say, but I got hung up right after finding the girl. I walked into a corner and she is blocking my exit so I'm locked in as I said. She keeps repeating the same few sentences every time I turn and try to find an exit. Not sure if you created the game this way, but it appears there is transport area around those two chests. I was dropped on the top of the first rock at the chest on the right.
ALSO, in the beginning, the text changes a little too quickly. I was not able to read everything so missed a little of the background story.
Guess you need to go back and fix a few things....and maybe ask for one or two testers :)

Found a game once that allowed cheating and a bug that gave me all the gold I needed for the best weapons and armor. YAH for bugs :)
