I figured as much, I was mainly admiring it in somewhat of a masochistic kind of way. It reminded me of just how much the original game loved poison fields. >_<

I hated that. And those darned magic floors.

Rooting for you. You got one of the best looking DQ games so far on here. I remember this one huge ambitious group back in the old days that they tried to make a DQIV type game, but something happened (was it called Dragon Quest Renaissance? Been so long..can't remember). Hopefully yours won't share the same fate.

Thanks for the support. But you shouldn't worry at all. I remember DQIV: Renaissance actually. Way before I knew about RPG Maker.

I was actually going to save this info for a blog but for now I will say that Dragon Quest + will not be using the RPG Maker Battle System or Item shops. I'm utilizing the actual formulas and algorithms from the SNES games for battles and will be making the system through events.

Dragon Quest + was originally going to be released between Christmas and New Year's but I wanted this game to be as authentic as I could make it. This obviously pushed the game about 6-7 months back as of now. I appreciate the continued support and I promise to deliver this game within the next year. It won't be a lost cause.

Hey, I'd buy it day one. It all depends on what you want to do really. If you feel that the game should go commercial then do it. If you fail you fail. But don't worry about failing. The game has a proven following and I'd love to go through this game again.

This game is really amazing. Great atmosphere. Loved every second.

Wow, this is pretty good spritework. Very authentic to the NES days. Malroth has never looked better!
