5/2/08: The Night GamingW Went Up in Flames
GW doesn't have an obligation to cater to anybody though. If they really want to make these changes, they're entitled to it even if it isn't in the best interests of the G&D sub-community.
Does anybody remember the old RPG Arena/Devscape website? It was about as big as GW a few years back and was actually one of the first project hosting web pages. The user base was primarily RPG Maker until the administrator decided to exclude all projects from that medium, permanently crippling the community. GW isn't going to be doing something like that, but if there were a decision to limit projects drastically like some have proposed then game development activity is going to plummet.

If you grew up in the 90's and don't recall this theme then maybe you didn't have a childhood.

Actually I don't think this is the theme, since I haven't watched this series for quite a while, but it's orchestrated so who cares...

Best
- Whichever CSI had "Who Are You" by The Who as the opening theme!
Never cared about the show, but add The Who into a television series and it automatically becomes a little better.
- Slayers TRY opening theme (Breeze)
Megumi Hayashibara is like 50 and still somehow manages to sound like an eight year old girl. Japan is weird.
- Penn and Teller: Bullshit!
This is the opening sequence for the latest season and it got a pretty spiffy brass instrument remix. Both versions are infectiously catchy.

Truth is out there, etc. Everybody knows this one.
- Cowboy Bebop (Tank!)
Great song by Yoko Kanno in Watanabe's magnum opus
- Firefly Opening theme
Maybe this theme just seems great because everything about this series was awesome.

What was the first game you ever played?
It was either Super Mario Bros. 3 for the NES or Mega Man III for the Game Boy. I can't remember which, but I became obsessed with both of them. I had memorized the exact layout of pretty much every stage in both of those games, that's how often I played both.

You might want to do something about the walking speed. The maps are huge and walking slow is a pain!
Logia and Weapon Attributes
It actually was greatly improved thanks to Ciel's input after initially beta testing. The original conclusion was that the weapon attributes were there, but they weren't utilized well enough in battles or didn't make as much sense as logic would normally dictate. I reached the conclusion that attributes would work better if they were mostly uniform among the types of foes encountered! (How could it have been this simple?)
