RPG MAKER 2000 - Still Kicking
The XP RTP is definitely more detailed and can be used in a much greater variety of way, but it's still possible to make some interesting maps with RM2K, as I'll show below...

One of the great things about the RTP for 2000 and 2003 is that it's so low resolution that it's easy to edit and change the graphics. You don't have to be a pixel artist to make graphical enhancements with it painlessly. I think that's really where it shines in comparison to XP's higher-res 640x480 display.
RMXP would have been much nicer if it had an option to set the resolution and tile size, but due to the way it interprets pixel data of the resource images and the changed auto tile function it made hope for a non-scripted option next to nil.

What browser do you use?
I've actually realized that Firefox eats an unreasonable amount of memory that only increases over time, but despite that still choose to use it. It introduced me to tabbed browsing and since then haven't gone to anything else.
If I had to switch though, I would likely use Opera. I've been told it actually does some things better and more efficiently than FF and am interested in knowing exactly what better entails!
