I feel ancient seeing people regard these games as old school. I still have my Diddy Kong Racing cartridge and have 100% completion on it, but some of my favorite old school racers were games like Top Gear 2, Stunt Race FX, and Mario Kart; all for the SNES (I am aware only one of these is a kart game).

You really, really should not resize any images beyond 120% (or even 100%) of the original. Your graphics program interpolates the missing pixels which basically means it "guesses" what should be there. The result... Well, you'd only have to look at this image to understand.
