Hmm, I didn't intend the avatar of this game to be a complete moron.
From my stream-of-consciousness game-notes (abusing the hide tag):
And now, we find out why there's an 101 in the title! Because you have 101 days to get a "girlfriend" or else! What's the "or else" part? We don't know quite yet, but it can't be good! If I were Takuya (the PC, not the NPC), I would barter with the girls as to what kind of punishment the looser would have. No way would I leave it to the imagination of the girls. Because then, you get a punishment like riding a tricycle in nothing but a bib (Yes, I've now played to that part). Though I'm not sure what kind of ideas Takuya (the PC) would have as proper punishment.

It reminded me of True Love, one of my favorite in the genre.
It is reminiscent of True Love, isn't it? Only the avatar in True Love, (default name was Daisuke, if I recall) is an absolute potty mouth at times on top of being complete moron. Seasons of the Sakura's avatar, Shuji, didn't have a potty mouth (or it wasn't as noticeable as Daisuke's), but was still a complete moron.
Not that the avatar of this game isn't a complete moron in his own right. Part of the genre, I guess?

Er... no, I can't top Yggdrasil. It's an armored city in the sky with enough firepower to take down the Goliath. How can one top that?

Ah, apparently anyone can dl the link, not just testers. I guess checking the "testers only" box doesn't do anything, but whatever. I'm glad ppl are enjoying the game :)
Where is this link!? I can't see it at all! Not that I don't already have the program (thanks for that by the way, flowerthief), but still!
Side note: Noticing the Custom Content tab. Pro move. Might have something to put in there by tomorrow, or maybe the day after. Other beta testers, be sure to check it out too!

This screen (or something very much like it) seriously came out of nowhere when I first saw it. It was kinda jarring, and I was mostly lost with what was going on for a bit. I eventually figured it out, but maybe a small tutorial about this (or something in the help file) could have helped alleviate the issues.

How do you plan to make other characters people addable to the game for others?
but that I mean: Do you plan to have a page on the game's profile where one can share a link to a locker file of their character, or something?
I support this idea of making a tab on the gamepage for custom characters, and allowing users to comment on it. The idea would be to have users link up locker files of custom characters as part of the post, or to make comments on how difficult/well-written/whatever other custom characters are.
Having said that, these customization options are making my mind whirl with intriguing possibilities. I think I've come up with a scenario where it's better off for the PC to have a low stat, rather than having a high stat. In other words, when the game checks to see if a stat is X or higher, the "else" sequence actually brings you closer to getting the girl. So to speak. Convolution revolution!
*Edit: Eventually, I'll get to actually playing the game instead of playing around with custom content.

Totally going to test customization options! I've no graphics for what I've got in mind (might find some temporary "filler" stuff though), but everything else... well, I shall see what I can do!
