Lol. Thanks for that. The guy who follows you around in the Oroboros Range is not a fighter. He's just tagging along (like the guy in the very beginning). Sorry if that wasn't clear. Let me know if you have anymore feedback as you keep playing!
Looks like you used the patch the right way, but I'm not really sure why it's acting like that. I had that problem before and was able to fix it, but this time the fix didn't work. Sorry. I'll keep looking into it. Try pressing F5

You can start the old one and as soon as you can save, do so and take your save to the new one if you want. The bug is much later and I'll upload a good version in a couple hours or tomorrow morning.
