MERCYNMETAL'S PROFILE

My first RMN game, Dungeon of Monarchs, began as a volunteer project between members of the WIG (Women In Gaming) community back in 2013.

I worked as the producer of the Ethnic Face-sets Art Pack (a Kickstarter campaign for racially diverse game characters). The art pack's worldwide distribution date is January 25, 2016; and it's free for everyone, thanks to the generosity of our backers.

I currently work as a game designer at FunPlus in San Francisco. My favorite games are farming sims, dating sims, dungeon crawlers, and fantasy rpgs... especially games that combine them all, like Rune Factory 4, for example.

I'll see what I can do. Thanks for the info, Marrend:)

Opinion: Stop Rating Demos, It's Unfair...To Completed Games

Good to know, thanks. By the way, I agree with you 100%.

Opinion: Stop Rating Demos, It's Unfair...To Completed Games

Isn't it possible to create a review without giving any stars? (I've never done a review myself, so I'm not certain, but...) I think I've read reviews that didn't award stars, without bringing down the game's rating. Just seemed to "skip" that option. So if it's not already in existence, maybe it would be fair to allow reviewers to "skip" the star rating.

Pom Gets Wi-Fi Review

Sorry UPRC, I didn't mean to single you out alone. I noticed a lot of commentators refer to Me-Patra as a he - in a lot of different articles - and misspellings could count for them, too. You're cool in my book.

Misaos results are in! Who won?

The community hath spoken. Congratulations, winners! YOU ARE THE BEST;P

Pom Gets Wi-Fi Review

Why are people referring to Me-Patra as a "he"? Her profile says "Female."

It's rude to choose/change a person's gender for them. It would be polite to check first. If you're too lazy or don't care, try the gender neutral term "s/he"... sends the message that you're too cool to bother.

Rate games based on what they're intending to accomplish and how well they succeed at that. Don't play Mario and get upset at the lack of guns and killstreaks. Pom is pretty clearly a light-hearted game

I have to agree with slashphoenix here. I didn't enjoy the game enough to complete it, but I think its style of humor definitely fits a certain niche.

Surprised it got nominated for some of the wrong categories, but we know that's not the developer's fault. Sated's review is directed more-so to the community than to the developer personally, in my mind. I hope the developer doesn't take it too much to heart.

Equipment Upgrades

Nice article. Two thumbs up!

Tristian: Lady of the Lion

This is pretty nice, I have to say. I even liked the battles, more-so than turn-based battles typically offer. Gameplay balancing can be such a pain. I'm still learning.

Happy Birthday

I liked it. Totally didn't see the plot twist coming at the end. And I liked the length, but I probably wouldn't have made it without the walk-thru (not very good at solving crimes '>.< ). Definitely gets a Misao vote from me.
