My first RMN game, Dungeon of Monarchs, began as a volunteer project between members of the WIG (Women In Gaming) community back in 2013.
I worked as the producer of the Ethnic Face-sets Art Pack (a Kickstarter campaign for racially diverse game characters). The art pack's worldwide distribution date is January 25, 2016; and it's free for everyone, thanks to the generosity of our backers.
I currently work as a game designer at FunPlus in San Francisco. My favorite games are farming sims, dating sims, dungeon crawlers, and fantasy rpgs... especially games that combine them all, like Rune Factory 4, for example.

The resource section... is that the game development section? I believe that's where I intended to post this. Not sure how it ended up here. Possibly I was reading something else when I made the thread.

Um, what? Really? Have you even seen the character editor?
Literally, any colour.
Also, nice way to advertise the release. Been planning this for a while?
I... think they predominately look like Caucasians with a different skin tone, like what existed in VX Ace. A skin color alone isn't what makes a race look different or unique. I think it's okay, but it strikes me as more of an accessory than a different race.
Sorry, I didn't mean to cause offense. Obviously we have different opinions on this. Thanks.

I used a dark-skinned character in a fantasy game, named Rahz (see profile pic). He was the main character in Dungeon of Monarchs.
We just released his face-set (and a few other face-sets of characters with dark skin) for free. It was a small kickstarter project that got funded. You can find the discussion and art pack here:

This was one way our small community banded together to try to work around the problem. Unfortunately, I don't think the new MX gives us much diversity either... not all of us are artists :(

Where do I get Speed and Warghol Essence?
Answer:
Enemies on dungeon levels 8-10 have Speed Essence, and enemies on dungeon levels 16-18 have Warghol Essence. There are a few rare exceptions. Each enemy can carry between 1-3 different essences.

You have to progress in the game until you defeat the elemental guardians in battle (boss fights). After winning the battle, your party will become "attuned" to that element. Then you can return to Saffronia's shop and put the elements in any order to invent a spell.
Sample Spells:
The same element three times in a row (wind, wind, wind) for example, will create a basic spell. Combine elements to create new spells.
