I don't think i can discuss anything regarding otherkin because i personally don't support or endorse that kind of way of thinking or behavior.

I dislike using things that are not mine though.
I'll try to go small. Like, a game with two levels-kind of small.
Or small in the literal sense. A game in teeny tiny eye-strain-o-vision.
Eep there's not even time to brainstorm, october starts this wednesday!

Creating an entire game in one month without recycling lots of graphics or using prefabricated ones is going to be pretty hard.

author=LibertyI had no idea any of these things like creating custom menus and assigning custom actions to buttons were possible in vanilla rm2k3 to be honest. I still don't know.
Hell, if it's not taking part in battles (and thus not using skills, equips and the like) it probably doesn't have to be in the menu. You can just have an event during scenes that represents that person.
Or make a custom 'Companions' menu that shows when you have other characters in your party through various ways. Have a menu that starts up instead of the main menu and have it show all your party, then have an option to 'Configure Battle Party' or something like that which takes you to the main menu.
Have a key item that calls a submenu showing a companion list or something like that.
Have a certain key that when pressed shows you who is in your group, separate from the main menu.
author=LibertyThat looks interesting but it doesn't say if the game has to be an rpg. If it has to be then i'm super screwed because creating dialogue in any engine that is not rpg maker is nightmarish.
Also, here:
author=SatedLike i'd be totally up for using any other system but it seems like tons of work to make sure it works as intended and i don't know if i have the motivation to do that when i barely have enough motivation to make all of the graphic assets from scratch. Making a game alone sucks, specially so when you know the game in the end is going to have a mediocre story because i'm not a writer. But i digress.
If you don't use the default random encounter system (hint: you shouldn't because it sucks) then it'd be really easy to remove a party member before battle and then add them back to the party afterwards...

author=LibertyNo it's rm2k3. Weird because i distinctly remember specifying in my post and yet i read it now and the tag i added didn't show up.
@Mirak: If it's in Ace, yes, but it requires a script.
author=CorfaisusYou could always open a new thread with a candid, ripe for controversy topic.
The forums became a lot less interesting after the cheekbone thread was closed.

Apparently access to that website is forbidden in my country.
Beware of mexican hackers because they totally exist in mass.
EDIT: Guys, question that i don't think deserves a new thread, is it possible to add a party member but have that party member not show up in battle?

The ouya's presence was almost non-existant in my country. I only ever heard of it once here and it was from a foreign videogame journalist, so yeah it wasn't that well publicized.
