How did your first game turn out?

I feel awful because i lost all of the games i first made.
They were extremely terrible, and they used placeholder sprites from copyrighted games, but i made every friend i had play them and they enjoyed them, and that brought me a sense of fullfilment i hadn't felt since who knows when.

My very first game was called "Wizard" and was about, well, a wizard. You had to traverse through a dungeon trying to find your way out, you had no means of defense since your staff had been stolen, and every enemie was an instant kill if you collisioned with them.

I made it in game maker. The very first game maker.

The Ultimate Legend of Zelda Thread.

The last zelda game i played was phantom hourglass for the DS. I bought spirit track but the cartridge came busted and wouldn't load the rom, and i couldn't play skyward sword because my last wiimote broke.

I'd wish i had a 3DS to play a link between worlds because from what i've heard about the game it is pretty fantastic. I'm not getting either a 3DS or a wiiU though so i'm going to miss out on the new zelda that's coming out for the latter.

Does anyone like Dragon Quest?

I tried very hard to like dragon quest back when i was a young kid since it was one of the few games i had, but i could never progress very far because often there is no indication of where to go next in the world map, and aimlessly wandering around getting my health slowly chipped away without a semblance of going anywhere until i was killed without having found the next location only ended up stressing me out.

Released my first game on the app store - Answering Qs here!

Congratulations on the release of your game!
The art style looks cute. I'd like to play it but i don't own apple products.

"We're not dead yet!" Love blossoms in a retirement home.

In my only trip to china i was waiting in line on one of those food stands when a young lady in front of me that, by the way she was dressed, seemed to be of the higher society broke the line, walked like two meters away from it, pulled her panties down and squatted to take a dump. The stench was horrible and it spread all over the line and the food stand.

It's my only instance of having watched something so disgusting as public crapping.
It doesn't happen in my country, not even with homeless or drunk people.

Which Castlevania Game is Your Favorite?

author=El_WaKa
One game that never gets mentioned is Castlevania 64, is actually my first castlevania and I think is underrated, yeah, the gameplay is really different and the controls and camera can be annoying sometimes, but just give a try and think of it like it wasn't a castlevania game
I enjoyed Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness a lot, and i played it years after the nintendo 64 had died out in favor of the gamecube. I really think people should try to get past the niggles that populate the early game, it really picks up halfway through.

Good morning, afternoon and evening!

Hello. I've lurked this forum sometimes but i decided to make an account today, to see where things took me. Aplogies for any grammatical errors, english isn't my first language.

I'm a pixel artist, musician and vector artist. Many years ago i made some games with rpgmaker2003 and gamemaker. Been trying to get into it again although i am no programmer and even engines with premade actions and the like are exhausting to me, moreso when i can't get the darn things to work like i want them to.

So i prefer helping programmers and devs by making music and graphic assets for their games. I hope i can find some projects i can jump into in this place.

Music wise i mostly do pretty decent orchestral and instrumental soundtracks, average chiptunes and 8-bit tracks, and mediocre electronic music.

Pixel art wise i do platformer and rpg sprites, tilework, textures and stationary objects. I can't do isometric pixel art though, it's too hard.

I haven't done much vector art for game design, i'd like to but i haven't found a project where they require it, most people want pixel art for their stuff.

If you'd like to take a gander check my deviantart gallery linked in my profile's website section, i keep everything there. I don't have a soundcloud haha.

Nice to meet all of you.
