I don't really know how to answer this question. I appreciate certain things about certain types of games. Nothing is imperative by default.

This might be a huge guess on my part, but the protagonist is the last Arcanium. She probably wants herself, and the baby, to live. She's faced with Yraqas looking to kill her.

Nice sarcasm there, but it doesn't have anything to do with my point. What I'm saying is that the game description doesn't need a long history lesson. In the current version, we get to the protagonist at the end of the last paragraph, and even that's just a vague-ish mention. I think that if you're trying to get the reader interested in your game, throwing out weird names and going on and on about the backstory isn't the way to go. I'm not trying to be mean, I merely propose that the synopsis should be kept simple and to the point. Tell us what happens in the game, not the backstory.

Thank you! Yeah, these older games are pretty small in filesize. I guess it's the use of midi instead of mp3s.

EDIT: Aaaaand it's just a demo. Oh well. I remember it being longer. Might've been some other game.

Well, that's probably because they haven't released a Final Fantasy game in almost thirteen years.

I have a feeling that for a FF game to be considered good it has to have its original company make be Squaresoft and not Square Enix.
I said it countless of time but my first FF game was Final Fantasy X-2 which I really like and consider to be pretty solid even though I played Final Fantasy X years later (and also liked it) after the sequel. I played Final Fantasy XII and I didn't find it appealing to me. Then I played Final Fantasy XIII which I consider one of the best games in the franchise (and I don't refer to the awfully overrated Lightning, but awfully hated Vanille) and then I played its sequel which sucks story-wise, but character-wise I found it great.

I guess it's an age thing. I grew up on the PS titles when they were still new and discovered the classics in my teenage years. I couldn't stand XIII myself, didn't even finish it. This probably sounds awfully elitist, but I can't help but feel IX was the last true Final Fantasy game and it would've ended the series beautifully. It also happened to be the last FF game Sakaguchi produced.

Metal Gear Solid. It means so much to me. I've played through it so many times it's practically burned into my brain. I almost cry just thinking about it.
