Rockman: You announced your intent to make something on April 9th.

The deadline was almost a FULL MONTH after that. Surely, if you're such an EXPERT at graphic design, you could find the time to do some graphic design? I mean, we're not asking for a face-meltingly awesome header, we were just looking for ANY header whatsoever that wasn't an overdone reference to a badly-designed series of puzzles disguised as a game that itself was based on a PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING ANGLE.

If I had felt at all confident in my abilities after seeing aprils' stuff, I would have designed something, and I work 35-40 hours a week.

Hopefully the mods will forgive this slight bit of thread necromancy, as I just wanted to remind everybody that the deadline for this contest is in six days (May 1st). So if you have any ideas, even if you like aprilschild's (admittedly excellent) designs, let's see them! I am planning on having at least SOME pages have a rotating head banner so you can see your work on the actual site at some point or another.

And again to announce the obvious: Aprilschild won, and her creation(s) will be put up on the site by the time most people read this.

I am perhaps erroneously still waiting for the appearance of Craze's and Toaster's craps, because 8 seems like a more robust/less failgasmic number than 6. Also I have been/will be extraordinarily busy with work/life.

Brief thoughts on your game:

Very entertaining, really impressive amount of working content (for three hours). My favorite part was when Mr. Bournd got stuck in a wall during the time he was supposed to be chasing me, but I also really like the super-cheery ending music.

All in all, I found all the entires entertaining. I will post a big glaring link to my entry and do a real overview when time permits.

Craze has already said his isn't a game, more like a database since he did all the database work and ran out of time before getting to the actual game, if that helps.

Shadar is one of the few RM* villains that is actually kind of cool.

Not to inflate Max's ego too much, but Det. Wilks is far more memorable.

I have to say you have picked one of the least memorable characters from my games, as opposed to Mask "himself" (hehehe), or Alphus or especially Dr. Cross from the Iron Gaia series. But I do appreciate being thought of in this department.

Also I thought the Time Dragon was a pretty cool villain, but no one but Craze even remembers that game.

That's either Veridian or Between Two Worlds.

EDIT for CONTENT: As far as best ones I've ever played, out of the short list of non-Legion stuff I actually have played, I've gotta say I have a soft spot for Dragon Destiny by Rast for some reason. Also pretty high up there are Exit Fate and Last Scenario.

Hi Legion, I'm still around. :)

I did leave the RM community for a year or two, but decided I really wanted to release a REAL game (as opposed to the low-quality joke games I've released). I'm still workin on it, but it's slow going since I'm doing just about everything custom, and by myself.
