I'm a student from Paraguay that likes to design and play a lot of games.

It’s been a fun ride and a long time coming. Goodbye RMN. (April Fools!)
Heya everyone. I know my timing ain’t great, seeing as it’s the first of April, but bear with me.
I’m leaving RMN and leaving gam mak behind as well. After a lot of thought and retrospection, I now realize that as much as I enjoyed gam mak in the past, I no longer enjoy it, and my academic life has never been quite the same since I started to use RPG Maker and mingle in the forums, my grades failing and… my class attendance suffering. I’ve certainly been in denial about this whole thing, but the more I stopped to think about the clearer it became. While I enjoyed the community at the start, the longer I stayed, the more bitter(?) the community became, or perhaps I became aware of the more bitter elements of the community?
Either way, it’s a toxic environment that I need to cut out of my life if I want to keep a healthy mental state. Don’t get me wrong, there’s plenty of cool people around and I don’t intend to do any dramatic namedrops. I just wish you all a nice coexistence inside of the forums and Discord Server.
As for gam mak, I just don’t enjoy it anymore, and seeing as the main reason for me staying here is gone, why still bother to stay?
