Sapphire City Part 2 Review

Wanted to go for something more Pixel arty, thought it fitted the tiles/cutscenes better. Spent ages on the old ones though so was a tough call!

Sapphire City Part 2 Review

Hello again! Thanks for playing Part 2, sorry it took me so long to respond. Glad that you still enjoyed the game overall, I will take on board what you said/feedback for the next entry. Just released a big update for parts one and two with many changes including redoing the faces (you were one of the only ones that seemed to like the first set of faces!) and adding some multiple endings depending on the choices you made. Hopefully Part 3 will drop later this year if all goes well. Thanks again :)

Sapphire City Part 2 Review

Hello! Thanks for continuing to play the series despite it not being 'your cup of tea'. I'll have a think about the things you mentioned and look to make some improvements for the next update. Will keep a look out for your YouTube playthrough.

P.S thanks for pointing out the title error, I can't believe that escaped me for over a month!

Sapphire City Review

Hello Thesacredlobo, thanks for taking the time to play the game. Shame you didn't vibe with it that much but I appreciate the time taken to play through and do the write up. This is basically my first RPG maker game/game (although I did release a prototype version of this game 'Project Alldevaih', although it's only on Itch) so still figuring out the engine and also the visuals of the series. I will take on board the feedback going forward.
P.S on the gameplay example you mentioned, getting into the docks, there is also a third way in via the water... also there is a way to disable the robots in the final section but no one seems to have found it yet so I think I may have hidden it too well!
Thanks again. P

Sapphire City Review

Hello TheRpgmakerAddict! Thank you very much for playing and for providing such a detailed write up/review. I'm really glad that overall you enjoyed it and liked the story, as you mentioned this was the main focus of the game. Seems like you gave it a thorough playthrough which is great. On the various tasks throughout the game there are actually multiple ways to solve them, I.e. getting into the Bar at the beginning, there are 3 different routes in, while it doesn't drastically change the direction of the game which route you take it does provide some different interactions and dialogue with the characters. The Boxes are part of the side content, talking to one of the NPCs twice will give you a key to start the chain off. Without spoiling too much this part of the game ends in acquiring a tool to help navigate the sewer section (even though as you mentioned it's not too challenging anyway) and some extra story stuff. I will take onboard the feedback going forward, like adding more interactivity to the map and making sure all the faces/characters fully align. I'm currently working on Part 2 at the moment which should be out in the coming months. I'm going to be adding some stealth and hacking sections in order to expand the gameplay. Thanks again for playing Part 1!
