I don't know the formula behind the "Buzzing Games" section, but I find it weird that Engalia is in there because of a single review being posted...
Another thing I've noticed that seems to give a substantial amount of buzz is subs. New games, even without a single comment, can shoot to the top of the buzzing list with enough (like 5-10) subs in a short period of time.
After working extremely hard to get a 500 word description done I learn that it's actually 500 CHARACTERS. *sad trombone*

Just combine all the Suikoden games into one featuring everybody and a party of 30 characters! (half the game will still involve flik and victor)

How much does gamepage CSS factor into your decision to read the details or download the game?
Not at all. Unless of course it is so eyebleeding bad that I'm instantly turned off the game and/or no longer want to be anywhere near the gamepage.
I'm waiting for my game to be approved.. It's taking waay to long.
Did you include the mandatory three images and 500-word description? I don't think it even shows up in the submission queue if you don't meet both of those requirements.

It can vary greatly, but a profile a friend of mine submitted recently took approximately four days.

Looking at your profile, you joined the site just a day or so ago. Submissions generally take longer than that to be approved unless there's an ongoing contest at the time.
