If you are just taking the mechanics, and not it's setting/gameplay/aspects, then why are you calling this a Dragon Quest fangame?

... Part of Dragon Quest's mechanics is to have a first-person perspective view in battles. Also, if you really want to consider this a Dragon Quest fangame, then why did you actually give your character a name? Traditionally, Dragon Quest has had a nameless hero which you get to name and choose the gender of (in later games). Even in games like Dragon Quest 3, you could aslo determine your personality. I fail to see how your game is related to Dragon Quest in any way.
