Final Fantasy: Legend of Balance
author=RydiaMistauthor=ReapergurlOh, that's fine, I've just had some people do things like attempt to copy+paste the battle system or other complicated multi-script systems that I've edited/written scripts/compatibility for. Some people have even complained to me or just flat out said "yeah I took this for my game but it doesn't work, help". That's more what I'm talking about, haha.
Ah. I see. Making sure I actually had the copy you distributed and not a copy someone had decided to distribute without your permission (been there countless times).
As for using anything, I hope RGSS knowledge isn't something I need anyone's permission for lol.
But I believe that at least one script I did find will replace another, more complicated and not really working script. Seriously, why is it so damn hard to bind keyboard keys to extra functions!?
And why ABCXYZLR? If I wanted to play Sega style, I'd play SMS/SG/S32X/SCD. Most RPG games I know use four !six face buttons as well as Start and Select.
◘/x/○/▲/L1/L2/L3/R1/R2/R3 FTW
Of course, Controller > Keyboard to me. Or better yet, wireless RB Strat || wireless GH Drum Kit w/2 Kick Pedals || Roland Midi Drum Kit > any Controller || Keyboard.
As for remapping keys, I kind of regret doing it. I mapped the control scheme to something that console RPG players (dedicated buttons for each function, button placement mimicking FF titles) and PC players (WASD movement) would be more used to, but most of the game's audience is more used to the RM defaults and did not like the changes. :/
The RM defaults (Cancel is also Menu) are fine for most, but yeah...I wanted to have more. Of course, the main thing is to separate Menu from Cancel, but to add keys and functions as well.
I mean, one can simply make :A and :Z function as the back two shoulder buttons (and I often do), but I wanted to change that, if it were possible.
FTR, I normally play PC games with a control setup that has the function keys left handed and the movement right handed (and a lot of people do if they're not using the mouse like for FPS games-for that I prefer a controller though).
Nah, the battle system (I see many script snippets which I imagine correct one to three errors provided by Script A/B/C/X) is something I would rather NOT use; I'd have to know which scripts to take, what order to place them, blah blah blah, no thanks, I don't need ANOTHER headache.
All I really need is a reliable keybinding system, a better way to make Throwing Weapons (I love you Yanfly Skill Cost Manager but this method is sloppy at best), and battler graphics that represent ferocious predators. Two of the three I can get from the scripts that don't involve the complicated battle system.

author=RydiaMistauthor=ReapergurlYeah, it's unarchived because the compressing/encrypting it was causing some issues with installation for some people. Doing it this way just made it easier, and if someone wants in an encrypted project it's very easy to do so. I don't mind people checking out the scripts and stuff but I do request that people at least ask if they want to use something I've modified.
Meh. It's backasswards, but at least I was able to download it, only to find I had already done so over two weeks ago...the f*ck...(just how do you do it Amelia)
Did you intend to distribute it unarchived? I mean, if you did then it's fine but...
(well it does leave a nice set of scripts for me to look at-and a LOT of them)

Unfortunately that's a RMN thing, it just directs to the main download. I'm glad you were able to get to the other ones, though.

Sorry for the trouble, did you try the Google Drive link as well? You can get that and then apply the 1.69 update to it (reminds me that link needs to be updated).
The only link is the one at the top of the page which goes to MS OneDrive.
...
Nevermind; the Download Now button needs a redirect. Jeeeeeezzz....
Final Fantasy: Legend of Balance
It refuses to download.
Really sad because I want to play this.
Guess it's off to the reject list... :(
EDIT: Suggested Storage Client: MEGA (50 GB FREE just for signing up!)

My audio drivers are restored, and short of NET Framework no longer behaving correctly, am back in RM business.
Goodbye everyone. Keep working the magic you do so well.

You can buy a cheap soundcard for as little as fifteen bucks to get you by.
https://www.amazon.com/Diamond-XS51-XtremeSound-Sound-Card/dp/B000FJR1EY/ref=sr_1_22?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1489955181&sr=1-22&keywords=sound+card
You don't have to get it from Amazon to get this price. You can go to Tiger Direct, Micro Center, or whatever other low cost computer supply store might be in your area. Barring that, you can disconnect your sound card and get a USB sound card for as little eight dollars.
I'm looking into that.
I've had this computer for a long time; I suppose it's only a matter of time before other components fail on me...

Just sell a kidney! It's worth it! Trust me, I've sold two.
So, you live off of dialysis now? xD
Goodbye everyone. Keep working the magic you do so well.

Get a new sound card.
Are sound cards even still a thing?
Failing that, get a new computer.
Care to help with either one?
I mean, my sorry-assed hourly salary barely covers the minimum of my debts and bills; there are times when I don't even have food in my house!
Goodbye everyone. Keep working the magic you do so well.

I can't really leave even if I've not contributed much; but since my computer is a piece of crap that loves to just corrupt audio drivers leaving noway to fix them, I have no choice but to opt out of RM.

Sprite Based Side View Battle Script
Hmmm...a year since the last post.
It's cool and all, but it is definitely not just a plug and play if certain things are occurring (like using battlebacks with walls such as the interiors of rooms, towns and the like).
Also, the enemies will need to be placed in a different manner.
If at all possible, find/make side view enemies in tandem with this script.
Otherwise, this is not a bad script.
