Nice, hand-drawn maps are always a nice touch. The only thing is that "Barath" in white at the top left corner seems a bit inconsistent with the rest of it to me, but it's no biggie.

Majority of the work involved was drawing the sky background(s), and mainly animating. :x ~12 picture components.

I use a mix of midi and OGG myself, but just a note about OGG: Unlike Mp3 which streams, OGG gets loaded all at once in the start when used in RMXP. And hence, there is a small (and likely pretty noticeable) freeze when the track starts to play, depending on its size.
Hard Parts of Game Making?
I'd say "sticking with the same project and not side-tracking". D: It seems to be the downfall of more than half the cases.
Now a topic about character design.
Oh, that reminds me. I find it quite a nice touch when the character changes outfit now and then. It almost makes up for the lack of bathing during the entire epic quest.

Thanks for trying it out. :) The first two chapter mainly just sets up the story, which I surely do need to improve during revamping sessions in the future. I am very interested in the things that bother you, perhaps I can try to improve them. I see that there's no spoiler tags here, so if you can send it to me through PM or whatnot it'd be very appreciated. :>
