T Review

Thanks for the review Brickroad!

Featured Games

Rather because he got an honest review that will likely deter people from playing his game, even though it's featured. It's like putting up a billboard that says "DON'T PLAY THIS!"
Oh, no worries. It's a perfectly honest and decent review, and most of those turned away reading it would've probably turned away playing the game anyway, heheh.

Edit:
It's like putting up a billboard that says "DON'T PLAY THIS!"
Actually on second thought, that's pretty funny in a facepalm kinda way. :p

Very nice, I like it!

Thanks harmonic. And Tau, that's a very good point actually. I should definitely try for some variation in atmosphere of my day maps, I'd imagine it'd get old in-game too. Thanks for the heads up. c:

@Nico:
I like how some of the characters are using the letters, e.g. the hanging thing on '. I think since the text has shadows, and the characters are interacting with the text as solid objects, the characters should have shadow too to be consistent. It may also be better if the text was grounded instead of afloat and have the shadows cast upward a bit rather than downward.

@Skie:
Excluding the rapping ( ??? ), the music and graphics seem to blend rather well. The pace feel pretty fast, possibly due to the upbeat music, and there seems to be a good flow.

@F-G:
Interesting mechanics. c:

A little key location (the sprites could still use some work):

Some Piano Recording Videos

Recently got a second-hand digital piano at a good price, so I am now making pretentious piano recording videos as an automatic consequence. :)

These are pretty simple for the most part. Hopefully you recognize some of them!

"Laputa" - Castle in the Sky

"Bloody Tears" - Castlevania
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wd0RGluIsQ&feature=channel_page

"Lilium" - Elfen Lied
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zPvBa99ul7k&feature=channel_page

"Kaire" - Quintessence: The Blighted Venom
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C1E_O7kBOjc&feature=channel_page

Those who are real piano players will probably notice my awful fingering techniques and the like, acquired from learning piano by messing around and repeatedly playing the Titanic chord progression over and over. :x It works fine on easy songs, but makes it pretty impossible to play some of the more complex ones (especially on difficult keys, which I avoid like the plague).

Anyway, hope ya guys enjoy!

The Sweatervescence Studio Recordings

Aye, really well done! Love the rhythms.

Must you pay for RTP games?

I like to present a nice looking topic for it and sell it off as a good game, just like anyone else.
That comes off as so innocent and fishing for sympathy by riding on the EE case. If I wasn't there before the editing and reading your posts here is all I know about this, I'd probably sway to your side too.

But need I remind you that your other topic there, one where EE wasn't even mentioned/involved in your opening post, still received the same type of attitude in responses? Yet funny enough, that the same attitude in responses didn't happen with other people's posted projects? Why is that?

As said before, you have to realize that excessive self-gratification is not "a nice looking topic just like anyone else's". Selling the game to potential players is more than bloating about it; sometimes it's better to show than to tell. I understand that you yourself stated several times that you have a big ego and whatnot, but that tend to clash with others if you don't restrain at times.

Again, please don't take it personally, I'm just trying to get your presentations to be less flame-attractive. Since as proven, the problem isn't with EE, but your take on what is a "nice looking topic".

I have just finished my utmost heartfelt love song
