ROWAN'S PROFILE
Rowan
131
I'm just a guy interested in making an RPG. I started using RPG Maker way back in RM2k days. My first game was wiped out when my old CPU crashed so yeah.. I decided to make a new one and have been working on it ever since. I mostly enjoy lurking around the RMN forums but I've decided to become more active in the community. I can be a smart-ass at times, but I'm generally an easy going friendly dude.
P.S: Oh yeah, I'm gay (seriously)

Forever's End Review
lol, why is it always like this?
A low review on a somewhat high profiled game = incoming shit-storm.
Seriously, it's ONE review out of 15 and the game STILL has 4/5 stars overall. There's plenty of commercial games who doesn't even get this many reviews. People's opinions differ; not everyone is going to like the same thing.
Once again, reviewing reviews.

I'm not sure F-G's opinion is getting across effectively. :-)
As much attention this review is getting, I think it's getting across fine :P.

You're saying people that don't agree with aspects of the review shouldn't post comments on it?
He's merely mentioning an effective (and alternative) way to get an opinion across. He didn't mention anything about comments at all actually.

Although that's true in theory, posting a less-than-shining review of a popular title will all but guarantee "revenge reviews" which will doubtlessly be 4.5-5 stars. Sure, the game gets more reviews, and everyone has the right to express their opinion, but I feel that behavior like that is a distortion of the system. People who otherwise might not have reviewed the game will because they feel a title they like a lot has had its score "smeared" and want to bring its score back up to what they feel it should be.
A scenario like that is a little far-fetched.
Shouldn't we be encouraging more reviews anyway?
