Dragon Adventures: Elwin's Quest
After getting the ship I am exploring around and it is a pretty big place to explore. It would be very helpful if there was a simple map to look at. I dont want to miss anyplace special.
I have 3 more helpers...wizard,viking,monster and am thinking this is all of them. We went to the castle where Hyrule is but he beat me pretty quick and our levels are 16-17 and no spells seem to really hurt him, any physical attacks. If he is the end of the game I will just back out and explore more until I get several more levels and go back in again.
Thus far There is a pretty high encounter rate and even now at the level I am enemies can still take half your HP in one hit and we are wearing the best items....unless I have missed an island or someplace which sells some really kick ass gear etc.
Right in the beginning of the game someone asked me to say hello to a friend of his...I havent had this exchange happen yet so am thinking I have missed a place....therefore a map!
Some of the gear in inventory wont sell. I have no idea what the EGG does nor have I noticed a particular place to use BOMBS.
The MOON RING looks like a real wizardy thing to have but my wizard cant equip it.
You can seldom run from enemies even lowly slimes and once again even slimes can take a good portion of HP even with the best gear etc. I dont know how that happened. Most of the time...90-95% or so, monsters will strike first everytime...at the beginning of a battle and during the battle....pain in the Linkis.
Your dungeons make me want take a big piss....so twisty and turny that I start getting irritated and am sure I have missed some stuff in all of them. By the time you get to the boss you might be low on necessities. On the way to the boss like I said with such a high encounter rate, you run a risk of using what you have. Maybe a back to the entrance option.
That monster that joins you in the whirlpool. pussyopolice or something fishy....if you sail around for awhile you can fight him again and it asks do you want him to join. Not sure what triggers it....maybe staying at an inn then going back.
You say its about 3 hour game, depending on the player. I am near 7 hours. I go everywhere. If there were skirts to look up Id probably still be there instead of writing this. Good game, buddy, just some tighten ups and focus!

Ha....I didnt mean to make it sound so bad....Now I feel bad.
I like the game but it has bugs to spray. Once you do that and tighten it up a bit, youre good to go.
Those boots I DID put on but nothing happened.
Inns cure everything even death ...fortunately...but monsters almost always hit first and you can rarely run so when they hit you with a group poison spell you have to run back after each battle to the inn.....once in awhile they drop 1 antidote. Fortunately I think lv 12 you get a spell that cures poison and paralysis.
Anyway buddy I am stuck and dont know where to go.
You might make a small hint page for the game, especially if youre making it a longer game.

When are you able to buy antidote? I keep getting multiple poisonings from one hornet or snake. They hardly ever drop an antidote and are encountered frequently. The only way to remedy it is to go to an inn.
I am level 10 and even with the best armor available even slimes are able to take large chunks of HP with one hit. I had an Orcish armor but lost it because of the things mentioned above but even with whatever it does, its only one item.
In the ice cave I can barely see a sparkly area needing an iron boot or something....I found iron boots but apparently no matter who puts them on this isnt the iron boots needed....right?
Some items in the inventory cant be sold like pot lids or something simple.
By the level we are (10) you would think there would be a cure spell by now or at least a group effect spell.
I like the game but its beginning to get irritating because of the things Im mentioning.
I hope you see this before too long.

Thanks Edge....Ive been on the right path then about the poison.
On the turtles, I guess maybe its just bad luck. I have the gloves equipped ans is still never able to steal seeds....onward, onward, onward.

On that doggone tree to fight as a side quest....I have used Vals poison spell until she runs out of MP and it is still there...it seems to be the only thing to actually damage it.
Also those turtles on the island....I remember having the same problem getting them to crap seeds the first itme playing the game and I recall the answer being one of those OH Duhhhh answers but cant remember what the answer was. I posted it here but now cant find your answer. Please remind my old memory
As I was looking back and readiung all the posts, I see there are a lot of puzzles ahead...I generally hate them especially TIMED ones but with the answers youve provided, I may get farther than last time. Someone was smart in asking for a walkthrough or a page with all the questions answered.
Great game by the way...why didnt you ever make a sequel????
