Oh my, you're back, the page went away for a while.
I've just been really busy, and I will be again after this short break...
Oh no I didn't mean you, I meant the game page, for a while there any link led to the 'anti-climbing paint' page, I thought you might have pulled the pin, but you must have just switched it to private.

I usually put it on private when I'm editing the page.

There are some boards behind it that won't allow me to get around or behind it in any way. I know what you mean because the puzzle is simple but for some reason the tile behind it is not set to walk on. It's no biggie...was I close to the end?

I'm not sure what happened. It works fine for me and I've never encountered this problem, but it was the final dungeon so you were close enough I guess.

I'm enjoying your game! A bit stuck on the first boulder puzzle though...I don't know if I am missing something obvious. I feel silly! I can only push it up and to the left or down and to the left....I can't get behind it to push right. Am I doing something wrong? I tried going back for Skullane and Chester too since the cut scene where they meet up in the cave but I don't think that's the next step. Any help would be lovely!!

You mean the one in the Pumpkin Palace? For the first boulder you should be able to move it to the right without a problem, and for the second one you push the boulder on top to the right switch and the one on the bottom to the left switch. Hopefully that helps.

Two things:

1. I'd recommend using a different tile of sand for the coast given that the one currently used and the autotile don't line up.
2. You need to set the mast of the ship to be "above hero" so that characters on the ground don't appear to be floating above/beside it. The girl with the pigtails looks to be standing on the top of the mast instead of by her father (?).

already fixed the girl in game (aka too lazy to update)

Yes, my artist was inspired by TWEWY. =)

Thank you! The actual design were made by me, my artist just took my rough drafts, drew them in the style that you can see up there and added small details, like Lucy's feather. Priam and Hisao are some of my favorites, as well. I also really like Haru's design, though.

Don't get me wrong, they're all good designs! Those were just the ones I was most keen on!

Also, if I find the time, do you mind if I draw fanart for the game?

The art style reminds me of The World Ends With You a little. (In a good way!)

I think the designs are intriguing since they're all different, but I have to say my favourites are Kazuma, Hisao and Priam.

City Mapping

I consider myself to be a decent mapper, but city maps always throw me off.

I'm mapping one of the main cities in my game (in vx ace) but I'm stuck on deciding a layout. The whole map should be around 80x60, and it will include:
  • Fountain

  • Inn, pub, weapon shop etc.

  • Castle Entrance

I was wondering if anyone could help me with where to start designing the layout for the city. Tips would be fine too.

Thank you in advance,

~Shadow

Inspired by art and music to make a game?

Wasn't very sure what to call this thread.
Have you ever had the idea/inspiration to make a game based on picture(s) or piece(s) of music?

Picture Example:

Source: (High quality) http://www.zerochan.net/1414982

This is the kind of image a person like me would be inspired to make a game from. I think that pictures like this, where people can make up their own story for it are the best for this.

Music Example:

I'm more into powerful music that makes gives off emotion. That's just me though.
